Great video, I've never thought about this. Without Minecraft and by extension Terraria I couldn't imagine what my life would be like, they've been a constant for the last nearly decade. Also you deserve more subscribers, this is a million subscribers quality content.

@@findot777 Minecraft was officially released in 2011, but the beta of the game started in 2009. While Terraria had began development in January of 2011. It's theoretically possible that Terraria would still exist without Minecraft but who knows.

​@@Sudupe16 Theoretically but very unlikely, see one of the main devs of terraria previously made a game called smbx, mario maker before mario maker. This was likely used as a framework for terraria, the devs of terraria love zelda as well so they wanted to make a adventure sandbox game. Because I would presume if reddigit made smbx they would have a fascination with sandbox a more likely theory would you say?

I definitely agree with you on your points, and you video is amazing as always. Honestly, most of my life in relation to games has been offline and single player. It wasn't until last year that I did online multiplayer (with a few extremely brief periods before-like twice). I guess in the sense of connections, most of my connections through Minecraft is KZbin (how I found you, for instance). Don't really have friends, but have met a lot of surprisingly nice people (KZbin and servers alike). Glad though it is an avenue through which many people have found friends-there's not a lot out there quite like it, and its certainly unique.
