An interesting thought experiment, there is a lot of variables concerning Naruto change in the story. Would sasuke still fall to darkness? Would Gaara escape his darkness? Who would replace Naruto on team 7 and how significant would that new person be? Characters like Neji, Hinata, Sakura and Kakashi would also be different as well. This definitely warrants a follow up video.

@@laskurtanceixixii Naruto was Sasukes anchor out of the darkness as well as rival. Sasuke, Sakura and random genin that replace Naruto on team 7 would probably fail the bell test. Sasuke frustration would probably lead him to pursue alternative avenues of power away from the leaf sooner as a result. If he joins Orochimaru early this could lead to Sasuke participating in Orochimaru attack on the leaf during the chunin exams.

@@laskurtanceixixii not necessarily, if sasuke joins orochimaru early and becomes strong enough to replace kimimaro the 3rd hokage would be killed with no harm to orochimaru. Meaning orochimaru would have free reign to take Sasuke body when the time would come. So what does Itachi do in this scenario? Depending on that scenario depends on Sasuke future.

What if Danzo implanted Naruto with one of then sharingans that he had on his arm? He could've had the idea to make Naruto a powerful weapon combining his strength and chakra reserves with the powers of the sharingan.

In terms of abilities, I can only see Naruto having shadow clones and wind jutsu under Danzo's tutelage. He'll never learn summoning jutsu, Sage Mode, probably not even Rasengan

I mean if Naruto was grommed to be Danzo's successor you can bet there would be some Hashirama cells and sharingan shenanigans going on with him I could see him tapping on Kurama's full power forcingly using said sharingans, though they would never be buddies Being a Uzumaki means Naruto is much closer to Hashirama as well bloodline wise so like Yamato he might be able to fully control Wood Style effectively Add Danzo's Izanagi powers to that and he's pretty broken

I think if Danzo raised/trained Naruto, he would have used Shisui's Sharingan as soon as he could to enter Naruto's seal, and then cast Kotoamatsukami on Kurama. We already know Kurama is vulnerable to Sharingan genjutsu.

I agree as well that Naruto would become the weapon that he should have been just like every other village. Third probably knew of this and wanted a different route for him knowing that every tail beast host has suffered the same treatment of discrimination. Naruto also wouldn't be able to have his unbeatable "Talk No Jutsu" if he was raised in the Roots. Many of the events in Naruto wouldn't have happened as you stated without Naruto's talk no jutsu.

Even in OG Naruto, the only reason Jiraya trained Naruto, bc Naruto: 1) reminded him of himself when Jiraya was younger 2) too stubborn to get away 3) Have sexy jutsu 4) Have a kind (in general) personality and pure heart. 5) *strongly* reminded him of Minato Jiraya is not type of person to care about lineage or orders. He completly hadn't cared about Naruto, until he met him and got a grasp of his personality. And that's fair, why should Jiraya care about Naruto just because he's a godson? An in that timeline, Naruto would be acting like Orochimaru(bc Danzo) or a lifeless puppet, would be less persistent, and instead of hardworking loser (Jiraya) he would be seen as natural evil genius (normal Naruto is a genius, just like Minato, but it's not the first thought that comes to mind after seeing how he acts, especially then he's 12-13) And from Minato the only thing he would see is hair and talent. ... Also no sexy jutsu. I don't think that Jiraya would ever train THAT Naruto.

Honestly feels like a short term gain vs a long term lose type situation. Naruto is clearly talented, that's been shown several times, with proper training he could be a monster very young, properly able to use clones, Wind Jutsu, Summoning, and so on, he could easily be the next Itachi in the right circumstances. However without his more pure heart and connects he's not getting Sage Mode, KCM or KCM2, don't see him getting 6PSM, and so on. Like I can see him being above Gaara in Part 1 and in Shippuden can take on characters like Deidara or Kakuzu, but once Pain or even worse Obito he's getting slapped.

@@ironboy3245 Chakra LITERALLY consists of "Spirit energy" AKA "Mental energy". It's stated in during Tree climbing during Wave arc. Danzo's idea of emotionless ninja completly shits on ANY potential advantage of idea of 2ninja from the 1st/2nd and literally any other hokage. Will of fire is not only an ideology, but an actual phenomenon when person experience emotional uplift and (for a time) becomes far more powerfull than normal. More determination -> more spiritual energy -> more chakra to use. Even negative emotion (except sadness) like hatred or anger (Sasuke for example) can make person more powerfull (but more predictive). How Danzo hadn't put two and two together, idk. He in general doesn't act like a smart person.
