What If Orochimaru Was Named Fourth Hokage?

How different would the Naruto story be if Orochimaru became the fourth hokage instead of Minato Namikaze? What major changes would occur in the Naruto story if Orochimaru was hokage? Would he still join the Akatsuki? Would Naruto grow up with both of his parents? Would Orochimaru get hold of the Sharingan?

They would have been about the same age as Minato XD! Konoha would have been at it's strongest if not more powerful than when Hashirama, Tobirama and Madara were alive and part of the village. Nagato, Konan, Yahiko, Minato, The 3 Legendary Sannin and Sarutobi all alive in one village and younger.

Its possible orochimaru seeing that hes young would try to take his rinnegans. But if hes protected from him and danzo then hel age fine become stronger with his group eventually grow to realise his power learn sage mode with jiraiya after countless people try and fail to catch him. Minato would not have been jiriayas student and thus may not have taught jiraiya rasengan, unless jiraiya double trains, nagato would rise in fame over time . Since he can litteraly wipe out vilages . Then get boost after eating chakra, he would probs compete a bit with yahiko. Who may or may not be turned to orochimaru in a bit to get at nagato but i doubt it. Probs be the strongest three man team . Go jonin. Help in the next war massively to the point of getting a do not ingage, flee on sight order. Decimate enemies . Force peace . Someone manages to kill yahiko during war . Probs kage or other high ranking ninja . Nagato pissed gedo statue . Decimate, seal their jinchuriki . Get healed by tsunade. Become hokage . Make his paths of pain . Deal out the jinchuriki he took as spoils to skilled leaf shinobi. Or keep in gedo . Take the rest over time since none can fight him. Maybe even have multiple shadow clones of him self around the vilage, own orochimaru like easy af . Kurama attack boom sealed . Obito(if he somehow couldnt stop rins death). Almighty push +minato+third hokage . Zetsu quits cause he cant so he chills or tries another uchiha . Nagato slaps danzo around for being an ass. Shisui probs doesnt die stays a valuable assett . Then nagato becomes ten tails jinchuriki. And makes konan his bride . Has kid . Gives eyes . Names kid bogato . End oh also zetsu tries to pick him off but nagato just eats him( the guy put chakra in rain for survailance probs put it in the leafs xD )

Well, they are 5 years apart. Madara's original plan would have failed. Never knew what he thought giving the Rinnegan to a kid and let him live in a war torn country were the Rinnegan can be destroyed by some dumb luck. Instead of traning him and imprint his way of thinking to a basically 4-5 year old. Black Zetsu, that guy tried to reawake it for a millenium and he just let it happen. If they didn't met Jiriaya I'm pretty sure they would have died regardless of the outbursts of the Rinnegan at some points. They will eventually know that Nagato is in the Leaf which would bring all kind of problems to Konoha because of his eyes. Probably a war between Kirigakure and Konoha, as Madara as well as Obito, after Madara's death, controlled Kirigakure. He needs the Rinnegan at all costs. Without it, no Tsuki no Mi. Obito needs only one eye to seal the Biju and to cast Infinite Tsukuyomi as it seemed. I doubt Nagato would be Hokage and even then Konoha would be in danger at all times, because of the eyes, the same way Sasuke protects the village as his Rinnegan would also be a cause of troubles. As long as these 2 are alive he can't have rest. These two can literally pop up behind him at any time. Really low chances for him to live very long if he doesn't play his role in Obito's and Madara's plan even if he possees the latter original eyes. Yahiko and Konan would have become strong Konoha Shinobis.

Nice video as always but i disagree at one point. Minato would trust Orochimaru like he trusted the third. When Orochimaru brought back the previous hokage, minato and Orochimaru seemed to be at least on friendly terms from the way they talked to each other. And with Orochimaru covering his tracks and Jiraya being Minatos teacher i don't see Minato doubting Orochimaru in a crucial moment. (Jiraya would definitely talk minato out of whatever distrust he had towards Orochimaru. We know Jiraya trusted him blindly. And btw i believe that hokage Orochimaru would be much closer to third war Orochimaru in personality than after his leave. He'd still be the get shit done type. A ruthless scientist and someone who has at least a wicked sense of kindness (it was not malice when he offered to kill the orphans. It was what he saw as kindness) but he still would have his comrades at heart as well as the village). If Orochimaru and Minato fight Tobi i actually see Kushina surviving. Orochimaru definitely knows the life force of the Uzumaki clan. He would not trust a child with the kyuubi if he has a perfect jinchuuriki at his disposal and he knows sealing jutsu as well as medical ninjutsu. If Kushina alone can reel in Kurama to die together, Orochimaru, Sarutobi and Kushina combined can seal it back into Kushina and Orochimaru would quickly come to the conclusion, that Obito needs to be defeated by speed. While he isn't slow, he's nowhere near Minatos speed making him more of a burden than an asset. (On the other hand i totally see him using death row inmates to bring back Tobirama and hashirama and not suppressing them at all to protect the village which would end the incident in less than three seconds. But let's ignore that for now) so Orochimaru would make a judgment call and leave Minato with the masked man. And if he can stall Minato, the reverse must be true as well. And if he tried to keep Orochimaru from running with Kushina towards the ninetails, he'd leave himself wide open for Minato and waste his Jutsus advantage over flying thunder god by making himself easy to read for both Minato and Orochimaru and given Obito is not dumb he will either gtfo the moment he notices he can't stall both Orochimaru and Minato and count his losses or fight Minato relying on the kyuubi to deal with Orochimaru and Kushina. I don't see both of them fighting obito as it definitely is the worst possible course of action and both would see the merrit of leaving Minato with Obito. And if Minato suspects it is madara, Orochimaru can simply second him, getting that problem out of the way as well. He can just send a shadow clone to "inspect" the tomb and after an hour or so officially declare Madara is not dead.

There are a few things I think would end up different than what you said. Two revolving around the same point, the resealing of the kyuubi into Naruto after its rebirth. I believe Hiruzen, wanting to atone for his past mistakes and seeing Minato as the more essential shinobi to the village would perform the reaper death seal instead. Leaving Minato to stay as hokage. The other possibility i see is Minato using his position and intellect to look for a seal that would allow Naruto to seal the kyuubi without the reaper. Also, I believe with Minato being alive, Jiraiya would visit the village more often, and with both of them being sages Naruto would know sage mode well before Peins arrival.

The animation was pretty dope. I just do not think it would not work like that. Minato would not be able to seal the two reanimated hokage so easily or take down Orochimaru. Tobirama would probably be able to use the flying raijin as well and Orochimaru would definitely know how that jutsu works and be ready for it. Another thing that I disagree with is Obito extracting the 9-tails from Kushina when both Orochimaru and Minato are there. Other than that, I mostly agree.

Annedolf Frankler for the first part if orochimaru were to reanimate any of the past hokage he would need to heavily suppress them just to be able to control them. If they are at the same level or anywhere near the level they were in Part 1 of Naruto then I could see Minato actually being capable of taking them out no problem he might need to use sequence 2 or above his his flying raijin As for the second part yeah you’re right it would be hard unless obito found a way to take them out of the equation by making them afraid to act like taking Naruto hostage or maybe even kushina, he could warp her into his dimension pretty easily and then just deal with releasing the Kyubi in his dimension then warp it to the center of konoha...

Regarding the final war, if sasuke goes on after danzo relentlessly, then it will be most likely that Danzo will use Kotoamatsukami on Sasuke himself maing him a subordinate of him. Then Danzo does not die. One of the biggest things you forgot was the Particle style. Ohnoki will use Particle style on Hidan or Kakuzu or atleast one member before they realize what is going on and Pain counters it by absorbing it. Then the battle will play around letting other kage distract pain while Ohnoki disintegrates the rest of the akatsuki. Remember, there is no counter to the Particle style other than the rinnegan and particle style itself. I do not know if Kisame can absorb the particle style or not, but as it was state that it dismantles on the atomic level and has no counters, I would say he cannot.

not always. There is a lot of plot armor in Naruto, people get the right match ups and the right circumstances. Imagine if Naruto and Kakashi were the ones who fought Sasori instead of Sakura and Chiyo. That doesn't end pretty. Imagine if Itachi never gives Naruto Shisui's eye, Itachi never breaks Edo Tensei. On the flip side, imagine if Jiraiya never dies, the story likely ends on a happy note.

I think Hiruzen Sarutobi would stop Minato from giving his life to seal Kurama in Naruto. In this situation I’m pretty sure Hiruzen would instead give his own life to seal Kurama in Naruto. Given the fact that he’d recognize that he just had his ass handed to him and needed Minato to save him, hed recognize that the village did need the tailed beast badly, but also needed a strong Kage-level ninja like Minato, who at this point was clearly stronger than Hiruzen. I think that was the only mistake here.

If Orochimaru was hokage then Naruto wouldn't be the 9 tails jinchuriki because Orochimaru would seal it into himself to get stronger.

I think he underestimated orochimaru as hokage. Dude would've learned all the forbidden jutsu. His reanimation would have been stronger and i think he master the flying thunder God close to the level of the 2nd hokage. Also he and donzo would team up and have almost complete control of the village. They would learn and do a also of research and experiments together. Also donzo had kotoamatsukami so if any slip ups would have happen he use it to cover everything up. Donzo wouldn't want to lose this much control of the village. Uchiha massacre would still happen but orochimaru and donzo would have found a way to keep fugaku alive so orochimaru would take his body and another relatives so they do the eye transplant so he can obtain ems. I think the 3rd hokage would have found out about donzo and orochimaru's corrupted stuff but i think at this point orochimaru surpassed the 3rd. Him and donzo would team up stage an assassination and kill the 3rd similar to the way orochimaru killed the 4th kazekage.

Lando Philips all the crap about Uchiha massacre wouldn’t have happened... and tbh most of the problems that happened in konoha would be nonexistent. They’d also have an army of sharingans out in the field. Sasuke might’ve been promoted to Genin fast... Itachi would’ve been groomed to become the fifth homage. Nine tails might’ve been sealed inside an Uchiha instead of Uzumaki. Obito would’ve met the Wicked Eyed Uchiha, Fugaku Uchiha.

some people say the third would do it, but it comes down to does a old third hokage have enough chakra to seal away the kyuubi using the reaper death seal. Minato's whole reason for sealing the kyuubi inside Naruto was to protect the balance of bijuu power between nations. It's not out of the question

i think the relationship between nagato and his paths of pain is the exact opposite of what you said. he would probably be affected by any genjutsu that any of the six paths are subjected to. they are dead in the first place. he shares his chakra with them and at least his visual and auditory perception, if not more of his senses. kotoamatsukami would probably turn him against the akatsuki.

Naruto wasn't able to mold chakra correctly when he was in the academy. The kyuubi chakra mixing in with his own threw him off. It doesn't help that Naruto's chakra control was terrible either. In the manga it got stated a few times chakra control for team 7 goes: Sakura=perfect chakra control, Sasuke=uses almost twice as much chakra as needed, Naruto=uses an insane amount of chakra just to pull off basic jutsu. It's only until he trains he fixes this
