Now for some fun facts about this video: 1. This is the first What if X Talked video where I've included the entire Downtime crew and wrote them comedy parts. I did include them in Pokemon, but their lines were already written for me because they were voicing character dialogue. 2. I went through a few different voice choices for the captain, but landed on the "salty sea dog" type after my kids heard it and thought it was funny. 3. The tank comment at the end is of course a reference to World of Tanks. 4. I found this one to be a fun challenge to write, as there are no "characters" to look at or actions to go off of. So writing comedy based on not even being able to see the characters I found to be a fun challenge. 5. Jerrod (aka Toku) playing the character of Johnson lost his voice a bit on this one because of all the screaming I made him do. I don't regret it... 6. A scrapped version of the script had the captain as the straight man and the crew being the completely incompetent ones. I ended up scrapping it because I liked the idea of an idiotic captain failing up.
