The way android/cyborg technology is portrayed in the series seems like it has very few actual consequences. The only reason Lapis and Lazuli were upset about it was because they were unwillingly kidnapped. Unlike other bleaker stories the androids appear to be maintain their bodily senses, fertility, and emotions. It functions effectively as a wish for great strength, eternal youth, and limitless energy… Why wouldn’t you want to become an android if you could???

With these guys, warrior's pride. Unless it was done out of saving their lives or something, they'd view it as something they really haven't earned. With Tien and Chiaotzu, I suspect also it's because the blueprints would need to be modified to account for things like Tien's third eye and extra arm powers and Chiatzu's psychic abilities.

@@CountDVB I agree Tien probably wouldn’t go through with this in the actual story. His third eye and four witches technique shouldn’t be an issue tho. Four Witches is just a technique and despite the misinformation people keep spreading his third eye was something Toriyama included because both Tien and Chaotzu are based on Chinese Mysticism. The third eye was essentially a visual indication that he had attained some form of spiritual enlightenment through his study of martial arts. It communicated to the reader that he was a dangerous opponent without needing to showcase any of his actual strength.

Their bodies aren't half metal.. they are still about 90% biological. Hence why Android 18 can still have a child naturally. I mean their is a chance though that the energy generators and enhancements that are made to Yamcha could still be found via a physical so yes his baseball career would likely be over.

I kind of thought we were building up to a Tien and Vegeta fusion. I mean Tien could have Kai earrings since he's an apprentice of one. Not to mention that kind of fusion might be even stronger than Gogeta/Vegito since there's so many complimentary abilities there. Tien's perception, techniques, and infinite stamina combined with Vegeta's SS Blue god ki would be an incredible combo that might even overwhelm Giren. Hell between the two of them they might even be able to get ultra instinct.

What i love about what ifs that power up the human characters is how much they remind us that these guys are actuall geniuses. They just had the bad luck of going against aliens, miracles of science and biochemistry and even an unkillable magical blob that never dies. When it comes to strategy, techniques, discipline and fighting sense they are the elite and a power up such as these means a ton to them.

Here's an idea for a what if: What If the Namekians stayed on earth. Perhaps using concepts from Dragon Ball Online could help. Like a Dark Namekian Arc: an all out civil war between non corrupted Namekians and the corrupted Dark Namekians and having the main villian be a Dark Namekian who fused with all of his fellow Dark Namekians.

I was really really hoping that Goku would’ve unlocked SSJ4 in Otherworld and stacked that with Kaio Ken. Having everyone go down different paths from each other would’ve been super super cool! They can't overheat tho. Android 17 and 18 were stated to be bio engineered androids, so it means there won't be them being overheated. Especially since 17 and 18 were stated to be genetically modified In not just DBZ, but also in the official Daizenshu.

And with kaioken, the androids would have it easier if anything. In the Tournament of Power, 17 kept spamming ki blasts without ever tiring or overheating which proves it. Only problem would be that despite the androids being genetically modified, of course they themselves can't last forever with kaioken bc of the amount of strain that's put into the body, but bc they're genetically modified and genetically engineered, as usual their body would have it a lot easier to adapt and break the boundaries of kaioken compared to a normal person using kaioken, and with the fact the androids would have it easier to resist the kaioken. Only problem would be the overwhelming stress of kaioken it does on a person's body and it's something that androids will have trouble with.

Hmmmm. Nope. Mystic gave Gohan a 500x power boost, while ssj3 gives a 400x increase. Gohan did keep up with his training, however he didn’t improve that much from it, so he is around the same point as he was at in canon after training with the Z-sword.

Vegeta has his own version and trunks his own version, and I'm fairly certain that transformations depend upon bloodline the warrior race has different transformations Royal line has different transformations as well as the half-breeds. While there are transformations that are static there are deviations depending upon that.

I think it works a little bit more reclusively than regular ki. It can be given, or forced out with the device, but it cannot simply be absorbed from the battlefield.

Tenshinhan has a third eye because he is a descendent of the Three-Eyed People. The Three-Eyed People are an ancient group of aliens. They are never seen in the series, but they have been mentioned in the Daizenshuu books and several other sources so tech he is alien so its not a therory its facts :))

Only thing I think would be different than you portrayed would be that o think the humans would still have ki, whatever they had when they became androids wouldn't just disappear, and I think it would be this ki specifically, their organic ki, that would be multiplied by the kaio-ken. I don't think 17 or 18 could multiply their strength with the kaio-ken. This would still be a nice boost, it just wouldn't be insanely broken like it was in this. This was an awesome idea by the way. I really enjoyed it.

Agreed. I like Tien but I think too much focus is put on him in this particular scenario. Yamcha or Krillen would be the ones who would either suggest the idea. Yamcha because he dated Bulma knows how genius she is and being desperate to enhance himself to catch up to Gohan and Vegeta after the Cell Games. Krillen could suggest it because he married Android 18 thus he sees all the benefits the enhancements could give them.

The try beam does not use ki it uses Life energy which means it has limited uses and if Tien became a cyborg not an Android he would not be able to use it that much because his living body enhanced with robotics would still be using his life energy which would kill him

I mean would it even work, with Ki and everything not even sure if Androids using Kaioken makes sense though it is still cool XD

I mean is it just me or are the Humans a but underpowered here.. I mean like mentioned in the video Android 17 & 18 were regular humans when they were given enhancements meaning that powered up humans like Yamcha, Tien, and Krillen would see even greater enhancements.. plus as we learn in Super if the Androids train they can grow to almost god levels of power. 17 presumably "trains" by himself on his island reserve ever since the Cell games (7 or 8 years) and is basically equivalent to Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Golden Frieza.. which as we know Goku and Vegeta both got massive power boosts from god ki. Meaning Android 17 was likely as strong as a super Saiyan god when Beerus went to earth and was possibly as strong as Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta when Frieza shows up for revenge.. making the Humans androids literally would make them pretty much OP until Super roles around especially if they trained like they did in early dragon ball z.

@@tonyblank2022 well they could but that would probably make them OP.. let's say say the humans are Androids in the Buu saga and that they are as strong as Super Saiyan Goku. a Kaioken x2 for them would bump them up to SSJ 2 levels a Kaioken x4 would bump them up to SSJ 3 levels. Both of those Kaioken multipliers are both easy to maintain and use after some training. Goku was able to boost his Kaioken abilities beyond x10 with 1 weeks worth of training so it would be safe to say the Humans as Androids would be able to use something similar and if that was the case they would be WAY too OP in the Buu Saga.. the only way for them to have Kaioken and not be OP would be to make them equal to base form Saiyans but if you do that then they are back to being irrelevant and being a Android wouldn't make a difference unless you have them unseen levels of Kaioken like x50 or x100

Such an under rated what if!! you could have had krillin and the other humans obtain the ultimate form to boost there power. can you imagine ultimate kaioken. Possibly threw in a couple movie villians to extend this I'd love to see it
