I recommend you to look into a Hoi4 mod called "Pax Britannica", because it has Nationalist France as its instigator in that timeline WW2

The way things stand at the end of the video, the Soviet Union is pretty much guaranteed to win against Poland and Romania, however a lot of potential events could change the outcome

You should watch the next videos. Worth noting that the Soviets would not have anticipated the sudden introduction of that many nations resisting their invasion, and their military was nowhere near the prowess that they had achieved even before Barbarossa, so it's closer than you would anticipate.

while the soviet military of WWII was a formidable force, it stands to mention that in a lot of ways it wasn't *that* strong, especially that early in WWII in 1941 the red army was nearly rolled by the Germans, only managing to stop them after they captured vast swathes of the russian "core" lands, encircling Leningrad and laying siege to Moscow the red army had failed to conquer Finland in 1939, only being able to negotiate a partial territory concession to Helsinki, and army reforms took in stride only after due to the poor showing of the red army during the winter war, reforms that were still in play during Operation Barbarossa in the Stresa timeline, the Winter war didn't happen (yet), meaning the red army is still very much what it was before the war with Finland also during WWII, the soviet industry had trouble supplying enough equipment to the war effort, and they relied on the allies to supply critical war material like Trucks, Radios, Tanks, Explosives, Planes and so on (most radios used by the soviets in WWII were British N°19 sets, Russian logistics ran on US trucks, 75% of explosives used by the Russians were supplied by the allies and something to the order of 3000+ tanks were shipped to Russia)

Vienna should be a turning point for germany & the allies
@LoreDad

Vienna is quite the turning point already with the cascade of Czechslovakia, Poland and Romania joining their alliance. But there are other ramifications for the fall of Vienna that may not be immediately apparent. Working on the next episodes! Hope you tune in and enjoy!

This is such a hype timeline! Having Romania turn against the Fascists to help Poland feels so good! I also love the irony of this timeline: The British and the French putting their historic hatred of each other to put down Germany, only for their hatred against each other to flare up again and Britain to ally with the one nation they had fought against during the First World War, Germany! I also love that the name of the alliance is the "Saxon Allies"!

Thanks for your great comment! Yeah, I found it really amazing when I realized that Romania flipping would dramatically change the war. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!

LoreDad could you do what if Germany 🇩🇪 had a Civil War please do this ?
@Ower8x

Czechoslovakia is an interesting one to me in this scenario They had a pretty robust and high quality military industry - which in our timeline was taken over by the Germans and helped cement their dominance in the early parts of the war. The army was well equipped and at its core had veterans from the Czechoslovak Legions of WW I part of which did take part in the Russian Civil War and for a brief time did eve occupy Vladivostok before they evacuated from Russia. The effects of a more stable democratic Germany would be interesting - I could see it leading to the Czechs being more open to a compromise with the Sudeten Germans and Slovaks which would lead to more stable CSR - alternatively it may have the opposite effect as a larger Germany could make the Czechs more fearful and less willing to compromise which could lead to issues there ...

Thanks for your in depth comment! I am excited to see where Czechoslovakia ends up after this great war. They definitely have been the arms manufacturing giant of the Saxon Allies and their fortifications were vital for the Saxon Allies to resist the initial Latin Axis Onslaught. The issue of the Germans living in Czechoslovakia and Poland are definitely larger issues that are being ignored for the sake of cohesion during the war. How these territorial conflicts resolve are going to be interesting. If Germany lasts anyway.
