@@mikaelleonbriones6356 not really. The biggest problem is that Willy wasn't exactly used to being Kaiser, remember he was expected to literally drop dead when he came to power. As time went on, he would probably mellow out or pick one of his sons as a successor. The funny thing was, many people forget that he actually tried to stop WW1 from escalating to the war that we now know. He was in a catch 22 situation where the Serbs (and, to be honest, the Serbs DID assassinate the crown prince of Austria-Hungry and his wife in a fit of nationalism, and that is something that can't have a precedent of ignorance so-to-speak) but he didn't want to be the one that caused the war. If you want to actually blame people for the war, blame the Serbs AND the French, for they pretty much caused a series of events to ensure that WW1 happened.

Honestly i don't want to sound as a nazi, which is hard given that my opinion on this regard has something to do with one of the arguments of holocaust deniers, but anyways, i think that the immigration of rich people in general (mostly jews but also left-wing and people from some minor ethnicities) to the USA due to the regime of terror that the III reich was obviously gonna be meant a lot for the growth of the united states. At the end, what i mean by this is, no, the USA was no one before WW2, and if it wasn't for the nazis the chain of events that leaded to the rise of the USA wouldn't have happened. The fact that the USA is seen today by those who are objective as a nation of immigrants has a lot to do with the fact that its prosperity was linked with those who went there fleeing from terror, who worked as both cheap labor and diligent entrepreneurs, paying the taxes of the country and investing on its debt, creating, at the end of the day, what the usa is nowadays.

@@Poctyk Oil is less of a deal with the Ottomans owning most of the middle easts rather than the british. Coal and Iron I mean germany has enough of that in the rhine. Grain would be the main thing which Poland and the baltic states can do that. Before you say naval blockaid would lose acess to ottoman oil they built a rail to prevent that IRL its just WW1 prevented it from finishing it would continue post war in this timeline.

there is ONE thing I dislike about Bismarck: he saw the Catholic Church as a threat, and unfairly persecuted it in Alsace-Lorraine, Baden, Wurtenberg (I don't have a key on my keyboard for the umlauts), and Bavaria. However, it did impact my hometown, as an order of Catholic sisters, namely the Sisters of St. Francis for Perpetual Adoration, ended up coming here and did a lot of good for our community. Wilhelm II stopped that persecution.

I just found out about Tunguska, the meteor that landed in Russia in 1908. Had its angle been slightly different it would have hit St. Petersburg with the force of 50+ Atomic Bombs. So, since I don't really see anything about Bulgaria in this one, I am going to try and create a reasonable scenario for Bulgaria. First, let's get this out of the way: Even if the Western Front was dissolved in a ceasefire and a peace deal by 1915, Bulgaria would see war and an alliance with the Central Powers, for a very simple reason: Austria-Hungary did not break Serbia by 1915, and would not be able to. Period. The Serbian campaign was disasterously mismanaged and effectively ended in the Battle of Kolubara, thanks to relative Serbian competence. Even increased German help (say Austria receives another Army on their front) might not produce immediate gains. And so, in Bulgaria comes. There would be no 'Bulgarian Diplomatic Summer' of 1915, as the 'other side' (Britain and France) is already at peace. Thus, internal opposition is suppressed and a deal is quickly reached: Bulgaria will get what it wants from Serbia, in exchange for it's assistance. Thus, Serbia is crushed (just like it was IRL) because it receives even less help than it did, against a reinforced Austria, now joined by Bulgaria, who possesses an army even more competent than the Serbian one, that is not suffering from shortages, and is facing even less resistance. The only difference is that Serbia isn't crushed by late November (and then conducts the Great Retreat). The 'Bulgarian Summer', instead of being diplomatic, it's a military one, because Serbia is finished by Summer, and there is no retreat to be done: Only a peace deal, as Russia gets crushed, too. However, this is not the end of the scenario as the crushing of Russia would itself prevent Bulgarian reunfication in a single war: Greece and Romania never join. Thus, Dobrudja and Aegean Macedonia remain in rivals' hands, because Germany never makes a concrete deal about those: Attempting to hold on to it's new gains in the East becomes the priority. Bulgaria is victorious and regains much of it's lost territory, but there's still a war to come, for the Prussia of the Balkans still hasn't become the German Empire of the Balkans... And so, all the militaristic policies would continue. A strong Bulgarian army would be maintained to deter Serbia (if the peace allowed them to keep some of their former lands), Greece and Romania from ending the dream, now once more in sight. To link back to the video's scenario where 'some damn foolish thing in the Balkans' is mentioned, this is the option for this Bulgaria scenario linked to this video's scenario. The Third Balkan War happens, as Bulgaria, once again, invades it's neighbours. This time, it isn't just Greece that is pre-emptively invaded, Romania is too. It would be a battle between a broken Serbia (who probably wouldn't even have much of an army), Greece and Romania, and the Bulgarian juggernaut (with some level of Central Powers assistance). It would end one of two ways, one of them being more likely than the other: 1. In the video's theme, the war ends by Christmas of the year it starts, and a truce is established to conclude a peace deal. Bulgaria, having the initial strength and momentum, secures some limited concessions from the Greeks and Romanians: The Border with Greece in what is now Greek Aegean Macedonia is moved to the Struma river, and both Kavala and Samothrace are ceded. (with perhaps a small Greek exclave in the Lower Dzhumaya region), Bulgaria retains control over what is now North Macedonia, and probably even takes some of the border regions with Greece in that sector. Thessaloniki remains in Greek hands, and so does much of the Aegean. From Romania, Bulgaria obtains all of modern Southern Dobrudja, and also some of the modern Northern Dobrudja, with the border stopping somewhere before Constanta. (Say it stops on a line that Bulgaria owns between Vlahi, Cobadin and Eforie). As per Balkan fashion, a population exchange occurs to solidify this deal, and both sides spin it as some form of victory: Bulgarians feel that they reunified much of the once promised lands, and that they displayed military excellence against two nations at once, securing a decent deal. Greeks and Romanians spin this war as having solved much of the Balkan nationality problem with only limited losses, and can retain much of their prestige. 2. The war doesn't end by Christmas, and the Central Powers and the Entente are dragged into it, as per Otto Von Bismarck's predictions, these having come true once again, despite him being the person who created the conditions for these predictions to come true. With what was said in the video, this war would try be the War to End All Wars, and with it, the Balkan problem would become sidelined by the sheer destruction that would involve everyone in the region. Romanians, Serbs, Greeks and Bulgarians. Perhaps even the Ottomans, if they are still alive. All those nations, regardless of the winner, if there is even a winner in a war involving tactical nuclear attacks, would see their nationalistic fighting spirit broken and destroyed for decades, if not more. Perhaps, even permamently, thus solving the Balkan Problem. Not by a deal, or a population exchange, but simply by sheer devastation and nuclear annihilation being seered into the consciousness of everyone involved. Regardless of how the borders are redrawn, this redrawing would likely be one of the last to ever grace the region.

Over time, he did mellow out and become wiser and thought more of his love for his country and people. Kaiserreich has the pretty good theory that this would have still happened without him having to be sad in Holland and watching some mustache, meth-head guy ruin Germany. You kind of start to feel bad for the guy after hearing some of his letters in the '40s and it was awesome how he still managed to outmaneuver Hilter in the political arena whenever he tried to use the old Kaiser to get some kind of clout.

Actually, I DO think Germany would bring back the monarchy in Russia, AS a puppet dictatorship. Wilhelm and Nicholas were cousins after all, so I don’t think Wilhelm would take too kindly to attempts to get rid of him. I have an interesting idea for an alternate history you might want to do one day. What if the Templar knights never ended? What if they survived on to the modern day? Would they have a place in normal military? Would they slowly be taken down in our modern age? Would there still be people signing up to join? Speaking as you had to be a knight or nobleman to join the Templars would you have to have previously been in the military in order to join? would it still have the thoughts of taking Jerusalem or would it just dedicate its time to protecting a country or the holy church? I think this would be fairly interesting. If you can tell by my username...

Want to know why Kaiser Wilhelm II was so stupid-terrible? Dude was literally unprepared for the crown, him and his cousin Nicholas. Their fathers were expecting a long, long life and didn't train their sons until near their end. Worst still, because they never instilled in them what their own fathers instilled in them, they would've needed years of work to be better taught and equip'd to handle affairs of state and grow into mature and sensible adults. And then Kaiser Frederick III got throat cancer. And then Tsar Alexander III was assassinated(its odd how both their fathers were "The Thirds" and both Wilhelm and Nicholas were "The Seconds"), thus forcing the crown onto two young, emotionally stunted morons. Isn't history just grand?

Only by witnessing the severe destruction of WW1 and WW2 did we learn that war is not always the answer. I wish that this was the real timeline for three reasons 1.) My Great Great Uncle wouldn't have died in the final Canadian push in the Battle of Passchendaele 2.) The city of Berlin Ontario wouldn't have been bullied and pressured into changing it's name to Kitchener to show its Patriotism (the name change happened in 1916). My family lives in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. 3.) The Kaiserreich Germany would still exist (at least a bit longer). Also I read the Battle of Dorking. It was mainly written by a British officer using the fear of a German invasion to inspire Britain to reform and modernize it's army. Lastily after the German surrender in WW1 Britain and France did play with the idea of "turning the clock back to 1815" setting the borders in Germany to the small disunified nations that it was after Napoleon.

I feel like the major assumption in this scenario is the continued war in the east. As you mentioned it Britain and France were afraid of a powerful Germany, so they wouldn't want Germany to win a war against Russia. So what if France proposes a different peace settlement, one or two french colonies for Germany ending all hostilities, including in the east. Not simply a ceasefire on the western front, but an end to the entire war.
