This secret honestly really paints how corrupt this organization is in terms of not only forcing Sam to read a message against his will and lying to his daughter to trust these guys, but also showing what extent they are willing to go to achieve some secret goal related to the supernatural. What makes this even sadder is that Sam, and by extension, Rebecca, had no idea what they were in for by joining them. In the first game, Rebecca had to read the names of demons disguised as simple words repeatedly and there was a secret ending wherein we got to experience being part of the animations themselves as being meat hanging in the butcher's shop alongside what is presumed to be the missing victims that had mysteriously vanished while watching these tapes. All that matters is that in this third game, our objective is simple: bringing down Hameln once and for all.

3:15 something I want to point out is that Riley is IN the library at this point, on the tape they are standing next to the library. Around that time the masked figured says she's just saw something walk around the building. Amanda then walks through the alleyway next to that library... coincidence...? also, in some of the other tapes amanda askes riley to get certain stuff from the real outside world, interacting with riley directly. The tapes are probably entwined somehow with the real world, rebecca/amanda probably made this possible by getting stuck in the tapes. Some sort of gateway meaning the demonlike version of amanda hade access to the real world. We see this when the masked figure smashes the tape and this sort of demon is able to come through.

They’d use the monster, which is lured by active tapes/the show being active, to snatch kids up and take them to the ‘butcher’/surgeon. After 15 years of the show not being active, it makes sense that the monster would zone in on Riley- but now Rebecca has more control over the monster, probably since it’s both an extension of herself and the demon residing inside it pities/respects her to an extent.

I think Hameln hypnotized and gathered the kids, promised their parents they’d be a part of the program, got the parents to sign a contract they hid details about, then coerced each kid into chanting demonic names as part of a “calibration program,” tricking them into being involved in summoning demons to occupy their body parts. The butcher guy was probably a surgeon who sedated the kids, then chopped parts of the kids’ bodies up and assembled them in a summoning circle for the demons to occupy, taking the physical form of “Amanda” and “Wooly,” killing the kids in the process. I also think Hameln only has complete control of the “Wooly” demon since they couldn’t fully control the children they tried to. Those kids are probably in the tapes, but there is perhaps a more intricate process to freeing their souls. I don’t think Amanda is just Rebecca. I think Amanda is an amalgamation of all the kids, but one of them gained consciousness and is trying to find some way back to reality by giving hints via the “Amanda” presented on the tape for someone to pick up on and free them. Wooly is probably an employee sent to keep “Amanda” in line, but her/their consciousness is growing too powerful for him to continue to contain.

I'm afraid, we stuck here. New part gave us no important information, just added new characters to make short story long. We still have no idea, what truly happened, who is Wooly, how did Amanda died and where is her body, what happened to her father, how did "Hameln" do all that things - you know, all that questions we had. The "new" clues here - is just the same clues we had on previous part. But to do storyline longer we got new characters. I mean, what's more interesting - to know, who is Wooly and his connection to this story or know, that the new animal character - is a woman called Joanne, who tried to fight this company but failed? Or that the woman in red coat had a brother, this brother missed, she joined the group to fight "Hameln" etc. - how is this helps to have answers? If we cut this characters from original storyline we miss nothing. It looks like, this gime is just like "Poppy Playtime" or "Garten of BanBan". I think the monster.version of Amanda is not out to kill you, but rather, keep you away from the tapes. And I don't think wooly is evil, I'm thinking he's just part of the system, something hameln uses to keep tabs on Rebecca. Now the rat monster at the true ending, I think that thing is meant to kill anyone who is seeking to release secrets about their inner workings, quick would also explain why the rat in the show doesn't try to kill Rebbeca, but rather distract her to keep her from releasing info whilst talking to her viewers.

The lore is getting interesting and dark like the Hameln who has been in middle ages in medieval times....we have to know what really has happened to Pied Piper of Hamelin his history feels incomplete when it comes for evil cultists who have meddle around with dark magic and rituals... Does Pied Piper had a son or daughter? 🤔 How did they changed to Hamelin to Hameln during the middle ages? We have so many questions and yet unanswered.
