Gotta keep in mind that there wasn't pictures for them to see. Actually somewhat realistic that they might not know who you are till you tell them. Then after you do most of them are like " Oh I've heard of you "

They have not met in person, but if a lord destroys your family and rampages your homeland, and is utterly destroying your life, you will know their banner, colors, and probably will not say "Who are you? and Oh I've heard of you". The situations are often too extreme. Anyhow, just adding a bit of variation or just starting off with "I know your banner and I have heard of you".

If you can offer a barter, it will be accepted. This is especially useful to know when recruiting nobles to join your faction - if you press the auto-offer thing it will offer them *loads* of gold, though usually you can get away with offering 30-200 k. There are some tier-5 clans that can be tricky to get though, I didn't afford the Khuzait tier 5 clan, he wanted more than 250 k...

For when you try to convince someone to join your kingdom, it says the chances right on the right. Double green arrow is critical success chance, single arrow is just one success. Red X Is critical failure which is -2. Basically you get 4 chances to get 4 points. I made a charm 200 character and this is how I am currently conquering, just convincing everyone. If the power level of your kingdom is too low then they will ask for financial support before joining you. That's why it's clever to raid their kingdoms settlements then try to convince them to join you.

If you hold Alt, when hovering over any army or settlement, it will give you bigger overal information on party/settlement, with useful information like what types of troops and in what numbers they have.

Next thing you need to do is marry in the most powerful empire and go at war against the Northern empire as they are the most weakest and near you territory. Also execute Ratagost and Olek, only recruit Siga as she has fought alot of battles against you and still managed to escape/live.

4:07 It happens to me too, when Sturgeon nearly wipes out, then after that the Northern Empire going to declare war. I also execute Galden from Sturgia, and he still appears in the map. Even the encyclopedia shows his death, also in his photo when doing barter with him. So I stop playing, and need to start over.

I'm fairly sure - The forest people - are mercenaries, since they are a minor faction, there's a few of em, including- Brotherhood of the woods, company of the golden boar, Embers of the flame, Hidden Hand, Jawwal, Lake Rats, Kazakhuzaits, Legion of the betrayed, Skolderbrotva, Sons of the forest, The forest people, the Ghilman, and, Wolfskins.. Edit: Dasys was a mercenary Btw, you could see that when you hovered over his name at 27:32

If you have time built the siege engines catapults, scorpions and trebuchet. They will destroy the defenders Siege Engines while you are on the campaign map and then you may have a chance to breach the wall before the start of the battle with enough time. If not, you will always be behind the defenders built up as you lose time establishing the siege camp. Also if you want your a.i to behave without getting stuck again you should press f6 and command the sergeant A.I to take over again. So take control put them where you want them to be and then back to sergeant.

I would have tried to get those last sturgian nobles as vassals in your kingdom mate, the other kingdoms will be able to make armies of over 1k easily and the only way you can match it is with more allied parties.

Btw the Khuzait war declaration has probably something to do with the Conspiracy Quest, which is not finished yet. The developers had 8 years to not even finish the last Main Quest of the Campain.... They just put it the way, that at some point any of the factions, if not almost all, will declare war on you... I don't know if this process gets changed if you manage to finish the other quest which is either destroy or support the imperial kingdom in quick succession after receiving it. For now I haven't declared war on them yet as i want to wipe out the last 3 cities of Aseria and their nobles who are traitorous battanians.

Since you've let Siga live so many times, marry her or recruit her. If she denies, wipe sturgia completely off the map by killing her, olek and ratagost. Also if Siga agrees, recruit both olek and ratagost to your Army. Let Ratagost own a castle and give a castle to some if your followers. Agna bloody deserves that much

The Khuzaits also declared war on my Kingdom when I was only having 2 castles. After taking one of their castles and a city and executing several nobles after obliterating their armies, they changed their mind and made peace again *evil laugh*.

@@middleground7108 What are you trying to say? It is my first playthrough and I had just left the battanian faction after they gave me those 2 castles and founded my own Kingdom. I did all that Kingdom stuff relatively late. One of the castles just happened to be next to the Kuzaits lands. I guess that is why they attacked me. (They had already conquered half sturgia). Also I was still playing on 2/3 difficulty, which I switched to realistic now.

You should try and get some nobles to join you from other factions. Give them fields and they will form thier own parties and make it so you can have bigger armies. Also, you can hire the mercenary clans.

Siege tactics : I feel like a battering ram is useless and not tactical. Once you are over the walls, let the stupid enemy have units stand idle behind the gate. Have you own troops remain at range once over the walls or fight enemy in the staircases. - Untested. I only played M&D:Warband.

My vote : the left-over 3 Sturgians have no faction now, so if they join you, cool: you do need to build your kingdom as another faction will certainly attack you soon. If they refuse, they make a suicidal decision. I would let them decide.
