Thank you for posting this as it is much needed in this selfie generation of isolation. Voddie Baucham is without a doubt a faithful servant of God who preaches unadulterated truth as it is written. From the fall of mankind to eschatology, unadulterated truth as it is written. These are exactly the kind of arguments that are common among those who don't understand the importance of church. Praise be to Almighty God and Lord Jesus Christ.

I love how he always...I mean always gets to the Gospel of Christ in every sermon I have watched of him. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is everything...it is the nucleus of the bible. "Do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but join me in suffering for the gospel by the power of God...-Paul (2 Timothy 1:8).

The point about the meaning of ekklesia is not new. William Tyndale and Martin Luther saw that during the age of reformation. They both did not translate ekklesia as church. Tyndale used 'congregation'. Luther used gemeinde, not kirke.

Study your Bibles to know the truth, fresh grape juice in the Bible is also wine. Good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people! The Gospel is for everyone! Israel was elect but not all believed. Those who believe a woman shouldn’t teach in the church should know this : Susan Foh in 1975 brought forth the idea that Gen 3:16 should say “ the woman shall be contrary to her husband” and then ESV adopted that translation. So now every time is is read in church she has her say. What’s wrong with you people? ( the ESV translators)

Sorry, I don’t agree with his cut down of a “home” church”. It doesn’t matter what the lumber is made of and how big the building is. I teach a home church twice a week. On Sundays we have 7 believing souls. On Friday we have 14 believing souls. We teach the children and they read the Bible. We also teach the adults and we all read the Bible. We assemble then we go out into the world to preach to others. Jesus does not give us a quota on how many need to gather. On the flip, we are told not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. The American church allows for unbelievers to sit and gather in church with believers which we are told not to do. The American church is so messed up it’s not even funny anymore
