I’ve been on sedatives for facial grinding, tension etc for over a decade but had to go off them. My condition worsened when I did and my teeth started wearing away where I was grinding. By chance I saw this video. I love Abigail’s presentations and spirit and her videos drew me in. I immediately went out and got a jade roller and that night did the exercises. I went to sleep with a relaxed face and no grinding that night....I woke up with no facial tension and no pain! I commit the routine morning and night and if I’m having a stressful moment. For me it has been a miracle! I know Abigail didn’t invent the jade roller and it’s uses but I’m so glad I found her video and this way to treat my issue without pills! ❤️

Hi , just wanted to say I have issues with my body holding tension too , I recently had hypnotherapy and it all seemed to have come back to something that happened to me as a child which I had totally forgotten about but my body hadn't! .. after the hypnosis I have had a lot less tension and feel tonnes better , just wanted to share as I know how horrible it can be and it may help you to look into hypnotherapy 👍 x

Always go in one direction, so if you roll down on your neck, don't roll up and then back down. Down strokes only. Roll towards the drainage points, so know where those are. (i.e. Temples, so you generally roll up towards them, not away.) Roll gently, especially around your eyes, since that skin is very delicate.
@AbigailJames15 жыл бұрын
muscles and tissues run in many different directions on the face, if your core focus ins drainage them absolutely focus on the downwards, however if you want rejuvenation, lift, get into muscles, ease tension then combining many different directions is the most effective.

Hey Thnak you and your dog for this informal video 😉 Was fun and interesting... But one question? I am afraid that the skin under the eyes is too thin for that jade roller? Or is it okay to roll right under the eye??! Or is there a chance to create wrinkles?? I always forgot to ne gently in the under-the-eye-area... So does it make wrinkles then??? But I wanna rid my puffy eyes anyhow.... Please Answer, Thnak you 😘

Hi Abigail. I have been using Jade Roller for a month now and I LOVE it! I have this video saved so I don't forget any of the movements. Question: I've only been using it once a week and was wondering if this enough, or should I be using this 3 -4 times a week?

I'm really appreciative of this straighforward approach without going into the meaning of crystal symbolism and such. In my mind a jade roller is a tool that aids lymphatic drainage. Would you say that as long as you aren't dragging the skin, a roller made from any material would do the same job as a jade roller as long as you use the right techniques? I'm asking because I've seen two brands on UK based websites launch jade massage stones calling them "Gua Sha" tools (I don't know enough about this practice to know if I'm referring to it in the correct way, I am only commenting on how it's being marketed in Europe) and along with the jade rollers , are they not all doing the same thing?
@AbigailJames16 жыл бұрын
thank you! I try to be as "real" as possible so I really appreciate your comments. Ive also filmed a guasha video, just editing, they do actually have a different effect, so watch this space for some different techniques. I've always been intrigued by these type of rollers. I was never sure if they were truly worth investing in. Could you substitute the jade roller for ultrasonic tools like the Skin Inc. ones? I bought one recently on a whim because I had heard that it helps to drive your serums and creams deeper into your skin but I quickly regretted it as I found out that I don't always have the luxury of time to use it on a daily basis. Btw, you remind me so much of Emilia Clarke. Lol.
@AbigailJames16 жыл бұрын
Ah Ive always thought Emilia is very beautiful and I love her quirkiness so a huge thank you for that! an ultrasonic tool is great for helping push serums in further, the jade roller is more surface so they are doing different jobs, you could totally combine them both (I know more things to do!) I use a professional ultrasonic spatula in my facials so I definitely approve of your purchase x

you can use cold jade over spot prone skins as it doesnt generate heat like massaging with your hands and less likely to spread bacteria and might be a help with drainage if you work out towards ears and down neck. However it will depend on the severity of acne there are so many different levels of it. if you have painful spots then possibly not. hope thats helpful

Not the correct way of using the roller.. the only drainage point on face is near the face and the other one on the collar bone. So, the way you massaged your lips and jaws was absolutely incorrect. You don’t “push” or apply so much pressure on your skin as well.
@AbigailJames16 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comments, there are actually no drainage "points" on the face, there are many acupressure points and lymphatic vessels which drain outward to the lymph nodes possitioned near the ear area, neck and drain further down the neck above the collar bone. The moves induced in this routine are not all drainage but more generalised methods for using a jade roller at home. I have spent over 10 years studying many different methods of massage from around the world. To access muscles and connective tissue an amount of pressure is required to achieve a result. but thank you so much for your input x
