From the CEO who made this ad: "my name is Ilan, CEO of Egard. The only reason I attached my company to this (i made this video alone) was because I wanted it to respond in the strongest way possible and the thing that matters to me is the company I built for my father." In another tweet he said he was going to originally release it anonymously. "I was told it would ruin my brand... I spent my own money on it not my brands. I had a four hour fight with family and friends about how bad an idea this was but I put my brand behind it because I refuse to feel censored and believe in the message. That's it." What a boss

The evil agenda is to pursposely destroy the masculine role , and to efeminate men (easier to control) and to eliminate the tradtional male/female roles in society and at home. They want us all to live solitary lives, with no social network, no husband/wife , no tradtional family unit as that's what bonds us together. They want us broken and tear us away from family and friends, a typical narcisstic trait .

My brother in law committed suicide a few months ago. He left a note to his family, in which he asked for their forgiveness, but he couldn't take the pain anymore. I remembered he looked sad and won't talk much, but no one ever asked if he was feeling okay or needed a shoulder to cry on. I feel like men aren't encouraged to talk about their emotions like us women do, hence the high suicidal rate among men.

The high suicide rate amongst men is due to evolutionary pressure being higher on males. It's true for all sexually dimorphic mammals. Men are dramatically underappreciated because the biological value of each male is intrinsically lower. Men, in a biological sense, really do have it harder.

How is this a "real" positive message The video is filled with loads of issues men face, all which are relevant, but fails to put out any prescriptive claims about how we should solve them or at least lessen their effects. I like that fact that it creates awareness regardless of how many toxic people are plaguing the comments but it's ridiculous to say this is a more positive message than the Gillette ad, which says we can lead the future towards the better path. I had more faith in men before looking at youtube comments, i'm now starting to believe there are lots of men who just love harassing women.

@@olaitanokuboyejo3250 these arent things you can influence. The best you can get is less suicide rate, but it isnt gonna change the fact that man has the majority in suicide. These arent things that are forced on us. These are the things we were born to do, and want to do. The only real problem is that what men does is not apreciated. If you risk your life for others, youre still getting the same treatment as the murderer, robber and rapist who ends up in jail anyway. Feminists never see the good, only the bad things. In fact, they intentionally ignore it. They dont care about other ppl. they dont only pretend to care about ppl who support their ideology.

My grandfather fought in WWI, my dad & uncle in Korea. My husband was a firefighter, a brother-in-law a state trooper, a brother-in-law a policeman, a brother-in-law a navy veteran of Iraq. These are incredible men who were & are loving, devoted, doting fathers. By denigrating all men Gillette does not raise up women, rather is just broad-brushes hatred by some. As a woman, I have always been strong enough to have a career, be a wife & mom, a caregiver to my father and am currently fighting, and beating cancer. My ‘feminism’ has never needed to strip a man’s masculinity to make me have an education, play sports, work, vote, have a voice, or truly do anything Ive ever wanted to do. I love when my husband opens my car door when we go out, holds the door open at a store, walks on the outside of the sidewalk when we walk, etc. His masculinity is not a threat, its a gift. These strong men have also taught our daughters to never accept anything less than a real man, not soy boys, for their partners in life. You never make yourself better by tearing down others. People today need to learn that life lesson. ‘Egard has earned my respect and business by their actions and message, conversely Gillette has lost four ‘shavers’ in our family by their insults. Finally, as the main products buyer in our home, I am looking at other P&G products in our lives to replace them with caring companies, a time for a change with the power of my purse.

Gillette wasnt insulting men. They just wanted to make people see that sometimes the way we act(women and men) is sexist. If people in your family does not do that, then i dont see why anyone should get offended. Its a fact that we live in a sexist society and it has to be said and taught to children (girls and boys) what is and what is not okay. That is what gillette was doing. Sometimes it is shown to kids that boys have to masculine and that it is okay to fight and all these things that were shown in the video. It is not okay and only through education it can be stopped. Moreover, masculinity is NOT holding the door to someone. I do that because it shows respect and manners and im girl. I think you have that concept a bit blurry. No offense.

Gillette was insulting toxic masculinity, the fact that someone got offended by it just means that they saw themselves reflected on there. Im sorry if its the case. Yeah, and in the US, the ACA (Obamacare) helps that grow. Part of ACA guaranteed coverage is that women get counseling and suicide prevention if they have depression, terminal illnesses or HIV. Men don't get it. Women get guaranteed access to contraception, including getting one's tubes tied. Men have to pay out of pocket for condoms and a vasectomy isn't part of the required coverage. We're evidently financially responsible for the kid(s), but we're the ones not being given free subsidy to be able to prevent it.

All throughout the ad a couple of girls were laughing and they found the part about male suicide especially funny. At the end of the video our teacher asked what we thought the message was. One of them said that men are superior being completely serious. This shows how far so many people have fallen. Feminism has taken away sympathy for men

"Nearly half of fathers without any visitation rights still financially support their children." This was me for 18 years. I got my girlfriend pregnant when I was 17, and she was 22. She told me she had cheated on me, and the baby wasn't mine. She disappeared out of my life, and I moved on. Almost 2 years later, she called me at work, telling me it was court-ordered for me to take a paternity test. I had a buccal swab done, and it turned out I was the father. Before I even had time to absorb the results, my ex called to fume about the fact that I was the dad and not the guy she had left me for, the one she had cheated on me with. She wanted me to give up my rights and allow her husband to adopt my daughter. I told her no. It should be up to our daughter whether she wants me in her life, and until she can make that decision, I will be. She came at me with everything. The first thing I had to do was go to DFACS and fill out a worksheet to determine how much I had to pay in child support. Additionally, I had to pay restitution back to the state because my ex had received government assistance during her pregnancy and the entire time after my daughter was born. Those government employees treated me like shit, acting as if they had caught a fugitive who had committed unspeakable crimes. I was already struggling financially, paying rent, a truck payment, and utilities. No matter how much I tried to explain, these individuals refused to believe that she had run out on me. I went into massive debt, begging and borrowing money to fight my ex-girlfriend in court. I learned the hard way that women can do whatever they want in custody/visitation cases. If she doesn't want to adhere to the court order, you have to take her back to court, every time. In 95', the average retainer for a family attorney was $2500, and scraping that up was necessary just to get her back in court. Then, you watch as the judge buys her sob story of why she hasn't been following the visitation schedule and give her chance after chance until you no longer have the money to keep dragging her to court. It becomes a war of attrition, and women have the state backing them up. Liberal women will cry about Roe v. Wade taking away their rights, but what about men? We never had rights to begin with. Even my first attorney told me, "In family law, a man gets only what the woman is willing to give." Now, my daughter is in her 20s, and I never got a chance to know her.

It is a simple problem of those who have authority over the child, should be responsible for the child. Otherwise its parasitism. Give the child custody to the parent who can raise them. You can not just set on to take everything the child and the money from men and expect this parasitism to work out. Responsibility goes together with authority. If you have child custody, you should be able to raise the child. Pay for everything yourself.

In the flight deck we need captains that are ready to sacrifice for the well being of all aboard. We need the strong of heart men and women to step up and be the hero everyday.
