They are good for suiten situation but not for sand on the coastal beach is too soft no matter how much its dig deep. This is a good tool for drifferent recovery as it shown here.

A big tarp deadman and a shovel works best for them super soft sandy beaches

I built a version of my own with 3 different head sizes. Biggest for coastal sand. I didnt have 800$ to buy one, but i did have a pile of scrap steel, plate, square tubing, a chop saw and a welder.

Fellow Jax resident here. I originally bought 2 xRedRock ground anchors for beach duty, but after watching your vids I decided to upgraded to 2 x16k pull-pals. Ever thought of holding recovery clinics for the average joe? I know its knowledge I’d pay for.

Great video thank you

your welcome, we also use this at the beach often, due to nothing to anchor to. When we get home from beach jobs we wash everything to prevent corrosion

How hard is it to pull out? Seems that none of these videos ever show that part.

in sandy areas, which is where we use ours mostly. It's not hard but not super easy if that makes sense, we grab the soft shackle at the winching end and pull straight up. There is also a hole on the back of the spade where you can put a small shackle and a tether to winch it back out after your done if needed, just remember to do that before you sink it in the ground

Great if you have soft ground, but seemingly useless if you're in a rocky area

Agreed, that’s why we have many different types of gear. This is just one
