I consider myself a TERF and I adore Marcus and other rational and sane trans individuals. I simply don’t want women’s rights eroded. No, I don’t think I am simply a “baby making machine” but I won’t be gaslighted into denying that my biological reality has an impact on my life and that of most women. Which is why I want women’s-only sports and prisons. I am disgusted by the misogyny and homophobia so prevalent in this gender ideology nonsense. Some little boys are more feminine…they might be gay…and they represent the spectrum of maleness…their more feminine attributes do not mean they are really female “inside.” We are a binary species. The existence of a very small number of biological anomalies does not mean that there is a spectrum. How a boy/man chooses to express himself is a subjective choice…want to wear make up AND sport a beard? Wear a mini skirt and combat boots? Go for it…you can even identify with strong females and model yourself (your maleness) after them. But at the end of the day, you are still a man with male experiences, not a woman just because you say so.

It is insulting to compare the pain of women’s infertility with trans women not being able to carry a baby. They are not infertile, they can choose to “save” sperm for later use if they choose. Infertility for a woman is deeply painful and only a biological woman can experience that specific pain. I so respect Marcus, Blair and Sarah for their bravery and common sense. I know they must get a lot of hate, as I do when I say I agree with them. I totally support trans people. Can’t they just take the win?

I don’t know if it’s a trauma response or something innate, but I can- to some degree- understand someone truly feeling like their body should have been the opposite sex. I’m talking about non-attention-seeking people who have still felt so strongly that they expressed themselves despite family members being adamantly opposed. It can be an authentic struggle for some people. This “gender theory” crap is something else entirely. It’s just a mishmash of contradictory “facts” that no one can question without being labeled as a hateful bigot. They’re trivializing people who struggle with true dysphoria by pretending gender is some vague feeling and that there are an infinite number of said vague feelings one could have. One way that trans people have more rights than women is when it comes to hysterectomies. Majority of doctors will refuse to give biological women hysterectomies for whatever reason. If I knew that I didn’t want kids or was happy with just having one and wanted a hysterectomy, every doctor would fight me tooth and nail. But once I mention I’m trans…”bam”… all of a sudden my uterus is no more. If women can’t have control over their actual bodies than we don’t have the same rights.

I live in Warsaw, Poland and one time I went to a board game night at Lambda - this main lgbt center. I think it was also for students. First everyone had to introduce themselves in a circle and there was this man looking 100% like a 30/40 year old man with beard and everything. Not one ounce of female features. And he introduced himself with a male name and she/her pronounce. That's when i decided not to come back. Because i can't commit to a safe tolerant place rules by respecting that

I am a woman. I went to a 12-step group, which are generally for people with addictions or people who have someone in their lives suffering from addiction. I specifically went to women’s groups most of the time, because I had no interest in being “thirteenth stepped,” which is when someone from the opposite sex (usually a man) targets someone early in the program for dating, sex, a relationship- whatever. It’s fairly predatory. However, I also find there are very different effects of living with addiction on women and men in many instances. I went to a specifically women only meeting one night and there was an entirely male presenting, 6’3” man there, balding and everything, but he had on mascara. So he’s a woman. And this entire group of 15 women was prioritizing his experience, correcting each other on his name and pronouns (in other words, crosstalk, which is specifically prohibited in 12-step groups), and at the end, the women all surrounded him and the group hug was centered on him. I’ve been to meetings with both men and women and never seen the men so prioritized. Usually men in 12-step groups are pretty aware of women’s experiences around addiction. Recovering from addiction or living with someone with an addiction requires a high level of honesty with yourself, and the delusions in that room that one night, which I’ve never encountered otherwise in any other 12-step meeting, were just mind-blowing. There is also a rejection of constant self victimhood in 12-step groups, and his body language and sharing just screamed, “I’m the most victim of victims.” It’s common early on in the recovery progress to focus on one’s victimization, and I have a great deal of compassion for everyone going through that. To remain there and expect it, especially as a man going into a women’s-focused meeting, is just perpetuating lying to oneself. I never went back.

I'm regularly called a Terf but I wouldn't dream of addressing Marcus as 'she' and have enormous respect for him (plus he has my beloved late brother's name😔 so he has a special place in my heart). My concerns are purely around genuinely marginalized (in the west) people such as women in prison and their safety. It's so sad that biology is thrown out the window. My friends were calling me a "terf" even though I have pointed out that modern day feminism is a total joke and stated explicitly I'm not a feminist allllll because I say that biology is real and it's important. If you're unconscious and get taken to the hospital, it's important to know biologically what you were born as because you may be able to transition with estrogen, but as far as i'm aware, the XY chromosomes don't suddenly morph into XX chromosomes. Acknowledging biology instead of rejecting it is crucial. These people who argue against biology are, imo, very delusional and need mental health support, not ridicule. While it is very easy to write them off as "crazy" or "insane" or whatever, it's important to understand that these individuals are in desperate need of help because they may be struggling with reality-shattering information and their only way to cope is to deny. It's really sad, and I would vote yes to anything that helps trans ADULTS out, but I will not vote for puberty blockers, knowing what we know now and I will not call a trans woman a biological woman. I won't affirm their delusions and if it hurts them in the short term, that's just an unfortunate consequence because I believe that affirming their delusions causes much more harm than good. What Arielle said about buzzwords is SO true, and your adendum that not all people who disagree with some of this more radical trans ideology are transphobic. Using words like "transphobic" in situations they do not apply just cheapens the word and lessens the severity of it. What I would say, regarding some trans people regularly using the toilets intended for the opposite sex (I’m not fixated on toilets, it was just mentioned in the video). Many women are becoming more staunch about banning the unintended people in their spaces due to the Trans people being so pushy. I think one of the differences is in healthcare. A biological woman has a huge amount of pushback and is even flatly told no if they want a hysterectomy due to not wanting children, yet these surgeries are offered to trans men as part of gender affirming care with little to no pushback. I don't think this is fair, I agree with pushback in both cases to some degree, it's a huge decision, but it's very one sided at the moment. In regards to being a TERF, I don't think I'm one but I'm not sure what it means to be honest, it's another word that's thrown around too much.

Since you have to be a radical feminist in order to be a TERF, this term hardly applies to a conservative, especially a Trump supporter. Biological sex matters as much as gender identity/expression. A trans woman is a woman, but she is also biologically male. I will call Blaire White a woman, but i can also acknowledge that she is a biological male. There is no contradiction here. I used to be a male feminist, but this new gender ideology, and male-bashing, has made it hard to call myself a feminist anymore.

That sex is unchanging and based on your physical anatomy, and gender is based upon expression, how you choose to present yourself. Key word: present. So yeah, someone can technically be a female man or male woman, based on their chemical makeup and gender expression. But people also used to try and present as the opposite sex, which made them gender non-conforming. Now you can dye your hair blue and get a haircut and automatically tell everyone your actual _genetic makeup_ is different than what it is.

Arielle described me perfectly. I love your content and Blaire’s content because you don’t try to convince people things are what they are not. I do not want men in women’s sports. If we allow that then there is no reason to have women’s sports at all. To think you work you’re entire life and no matter what the best you’ll be is #2 or #3. Trans women can not have periods even after bottom surgery. I wish we could take like 20 trans women and really give them the experience of having a period. I’m talking about the whole enchilada. From the week before, to horrific cramping, to bleeding over on to your clothes accidentally, to the not so pretty side of pregnancy (including mental health issues while pregnant), swollen feet & hurt back all the way to a 72 hour labor and delivery without drugs. They would come out and say to stop this mind set immediately. See the difference is they are choosing to have these things where women don’t get a choice. So if they decide they want to skip their “period” because they are going to Aruba for vacation they can. Women can’t. There are so many reasons, this was an example. It is true that radical feminists believe that all women are oppressed and all men are oppressors. It’s one of the central tenants of their movement. I’ve even heard radical feminists argue that misogyny is the root of *all* oppression, including things like racism and working-class oppression. As far as the terfs that intentionally misgender people like Buck, Blaire and Marcus my observation is mostly they do it to maintain a sense of reality in which male pronouns go with biological males and female pronouns go with biological females. It’s not necessarily something I agree with, I tend to default to if you look male I use male pronouns and if you look female I use female pronouns, but it’s a stance I can understand given that they perceive any trans as inherently a lie with people like the above who happen to pass just being really good at lying.
