CID of San Mateo is a non-profit organization and independent living center located in San Mateo California. They offer the core services of Independent Living Skills, Information and Referral, Peer Support, Advocacy, and Assistive Technology, among others.

The Love Disabled Life KZbin channel is committed to challenging the stigma of disability that perpetuates the discrimination and marginalization of disabled people. Videos are about aspects of daily life, our history and culture and positive disability identity.
I'm Jody, the woman behind the camera, and I am motivated to advocate for positive disability identity through this KZbin channel, as well as in by blog website and Etsy shop, to provoke new ways of thinking about being disabled. In doing this work, I hope that I can amplify the voices of my community so that they may be better understood and accepted in society. While I acknowledge, as disabled people, we might not like every day (let's face it, some days are hard), we should always love who is living them.
