Bone cancer, also known as primary bone cancer, refers to the abnormal and uncontrolled growth of cells in the bone tissue. It is different from cancer that has spread to the bones from other parts of the body, which is called secondary or metastatic bone cancer.
There are several types of bone cancer, but the most common types includes Osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma and Chondrosarcoma.
The symptoms of bone cancer can vary depending on the type, location, and stage of the cancer. Some common symptoms to be aware of include:
• Pain
• Swelling and tenderness
• Lumps or masses
• Weakened bones
• Limited range of motion
• Fatigue and unexplained weight loss
