how about ceramic coat first, wax after?

Yes that can be fine, but you need to be sure the wax that you but on top of the coating is going to play nice with the ceramic coating. Sometimes the manufacture of the coating will sell a topper or there are other toppers out there that you can use. We use systemx renew or a combination of P&S beadmaker and dreammaker.
