Where is moussa alsader that Idk who took him only cz he wanted to stop the war in Lebanon? What I can say from my life in Lebanon, that there was a country thet invaded Lebanon, and there is people who wanted to defend their country from this invade that made so awful things to their sons, families, homes, etc... And of course, they choose to use fire against fire😅

oh yea i really wonder about all the Lebanese christians that were brutalized under Lebanon. Why dont you acknowledge the murdered christians of lebanon? Why dont you mention the Palestinian Refugee camps in Lebanon that are HOLDING people. Why not discuss the complete apartheid system of work that palestinians have to endure under lebanon? Why is it that you hold muslims in camps yet Lebanon does not allow them citizenship? Why harbor terrorists like hezbullah? The disaster of lebanon is based in its own governing procedures. Lots of lebanese fled and are in the USA. Some happen to be the most vocal opponents to Radical Islamic Terror. But thank you for agreeing that Israel is a country. I am not for either side, and it's my first time watching this channel. But handling geopolitics with this level of cartoonishness is something I very much dislike. I find issue with some depictions, not necessarily because they are wrong or right, but because of the simplicity in which they are presented. It is one thing to be concise, and another to be misrepresent I do appreciate the effort you guys put in this video, but I wanted to express my opinion
@TruthOne31310 ай бұрын
Well said I definitely agree and I felt this video was very one sided. The guy even failed to mention the Sabra and Shatila massacre. Once again someone that fails to understand the cause and chooses to teach whatever mainstream says leaving behind key elements.
@ThePurpleButterfly21-ie7ve10 ай бұрын
@TruthOne313 he was breaking down hezsbolla, not the entire region. This channel often offers the other side's pov too. Even if they don't agree with it. But you're right, it's not enough to watch a video to learn the entire history of the region, i believe it should be an incentive to learn history in full. But most people are lazy and it's easy to watch a 10-minute video. That being said, I'm already familiar with the massacre in sabra and shatila. But it's part of the cause, not the original or the main reason. And I don't believe it's as mainstream as you think, it's just extremely basic. This channel always do it bite-sized, it's unfortunate and if you have their email I'd like to sent a request, to say that you should make a more extensive longer videos. I agree that there was a lot missing, but I disagree with what the original comment said, about that being cartoonish, a lot of people avoid this issues because it's so heavy, putting it in such a way that both respect history but helps the viewer learn more by being "cartoonish". BTW I always like to get recommendations to books about the subject if you have any that'll be great.

@ThePurpleButterfly21-ie7ve Well I don't know many history books, but perhaps learning about Shia Islam would help since that's the belief they run by and on of the main figures of the Shia being Imam Hossein (as) the grandson of the prophet. Understanding the cultural and religious beliefs of people would give a much broader understanding of why something is happening. Hezbollah is a mini state stronger than the mother state within the state, let that sync in for a second. Though I am secular, I was born a Shiite, and when I served in the Lebanese army, the majority of Shiite officers around me kept on pumping me to be more "Shiite" and "wear my Shiite badge with pride!" Their hearts and beliefs were strictly with Hezbollah, even though their uniforms and deployments were from the Lebanese army. To add insult to injury, one of the "codes" of the Lebanese army is that speaking about politics and sectarianism is "totally forbidden," a punishable crime, and everyone in the army is mandated to be politically and religiously neutral... To think this was happening right under their noses says only one thing; they do not dare take a stand against Hezbollah or even its supporters within their own institution even though they are committing "crimes" as per the Lebanese army's military codes... This is beyond sad... Furthermore, and what this video misses to mention, is that this "cancerous gland" of a militia gets funding from all sorts of shady and illegal activities such as drug trafficking in areas that the Lebanese army or police never dare to enter... Again, very very sad... You know, when their "military parades" hit the streets of Lebanon on the occasion of the militia's "founding day" you really can't see the asphalt on the roads anymore as it's covered by thousands of militants, tanks, Multiple Launch Rocket Systems, Surface-to-Air Missile systems, hundreds of thousands of Shiite spectators on the street... etc. It's an intentional and deliberate show of force, assertion of authority, display of supremacy, establishment of dominance, and more like a metaphorical "middle finger" to everyone else in Lebanon with the tease of "so, what do you think you can do about that?!" being shouted and yelled by almost a million people marching together with military machinery... It's a total violation of the sovereignty of the Lebanese nation... Unfortunately, they are literally running the country... Such a beautiful country falling into the hands of militant thugs and drug dealers... The only way to eradicate this cancerous glad from Lebanon is for its members and supporters to get off whatever drugs they're being put on, have a conscious awakening, and remember that they are Lebanese first before being Shiite. And for those who have their loyalties elsewhere to leave Lebanon in peace and go to Iran. Sounds like a fairytale, but it's the only solution without sparking another civil war.

@@whyjay9959The truth is the ambasador assassination attack is a mystery. There is speculation it was orchestrated by Saddam Hussein who wanted Israeli to get the Syrian influence out fromm Lebanon, but tha’t a theory only. What we know for sure Israeli had planned this earlier it was leaked that Bashir Gemayel, one of the far-rigth Maronite politics leader met with Israeli Defense minister to discuss a plan of Israeli invasion of Lebanon four month before attack. Source is Times magasine article ,,Middle East: The attack that almost was”. That means the Israeli wanted to attack Lebanon they only need good excuse. The ambasador’s assassination attack was good enough. No matter Arafat wasn’t responsible for the attack, no matter it was propably only Iraqi provocation. What’s matter Israeli could start a war.

That money is Hezbollah's and has nothing to do with money earned through Lebanon's resources, so I wonder why would someone think about how Hezbollah should be using that money and not use it to arm itself while Israel violates the Lebanese airspace and implies pressure on it directly and indirectly on a regular basis. They have every right to defend themselves and their homeland Lebanon against Israel. Just like Israel has the right to defend itself, it's not something exclusive for Israel.

Didn’t some politicians, powerful individuals, and intelligence agencies and members help form this “non state actor” as a prerequisite for their longterm agenda in the Middle East? What’s the story on that part? Problem, reaction, solution? Similar to the way the USA and NATO helped create isis, all so they’d have an excuse to continue their actions in the Middle East. It’s a lot easier to take oil and land, and other natural resources, set up bases, and have the international community give their blessing or at least butt out, when you can say “but we’ve gotta get isis out of there”. I’d hope everyone could see what’s going on by now. Nothing is ever for humanitarian reasons and western and Israeli intelligence create their own “bad guys”, their own enemies to help further the agenda that’s been in place since before WW2.

As an Iranian-American who knows better than most how shady the US has been to Iran, specifically for our gas and oil (not one but two coups within a 25-year timespan, first in 1953 then 1978-1979): I would still trust the Israeli govt over the fascist terrorist Islamist genocidal regime that has been holding my people hostage for 44 years. @ordennuevo4697 ай бұрын
It was part of the deal beetwen PLO and West. You see situation was that Israeli layed sieged on West Beirut the last stronhold of PLO. Palestinians future was doomed but they resisted for three month no matter the cost. They didn’t wanted capitulate to Israel so they asked USA for protection in order to safely evacuate. The Israeli oppossed but finally that was the only way out. They only left option was total destruction od city with many many more dead civilian. But that’s not the end of International Forces. French and American evacuated all Palestinian fighters and were about to abandon Beirut once and for all, but the Maronites massacred 3 000 palestinian refugees with help from Israeli army in Sabra and Shatili camps. West just realised they has to stay unwillingly because without international protection Maronites could massacre all the Muslin population in Beirut(at least it was what they thougth then). The international force withdrawn because of the fierce opposition from Hezbollah.
