Its ashamed that folks who struggle with CPTSD, Abandonment Trauma and BPD, get mislabeled as Narcissistic. I hope more and more people understand the differences...

Mary Holton in silent treatment, the narc is thinking how BADLY you need their attention, how you just can't live without them talking to you, how you need their words sooo much

Check out their pattern they will always give their self away, Always remember that rollercoaster ride, remember how they made you feel during the discard phase, when their devaluing you their grooming the next target, when they Hoover they will be sweet as pie, their words are as smooth like butter but war is in their hearts it's in the Bible!

I just got a note in my letter box this week. “Please call me” plus the mobile number. Guess what? This note went straight into the dustbin. Don’t want this crazy sick circle again. Thank you for your clear words, so true.

One thing that I noticed also is that out of desperation the on who was abused by a narcissist can be labeled a hooverer by the narcissist to try and prove that they were the one not being a narcissist.

what you said right at the end was really helpful to me. I know about the concept of constants, but i never thought about asking myself if i would do that to someone else. But when i ask myself that about things i was unsure about and gave a lot of benefit of a lot of doubt to (!), my IMMEDIATE reaction is 'Nooooooooooo, i would NEVER do that to someone. It would feel cruel and awful.... Ohhhhhhhh, wait....!!!!!!!!!!!'

How do you know if the apology is sincere? Can’t a person with mild/moderate narcissistic tendencies change? Especially if they are watching videos like this....

I have just stumbled into your channel. This explained so much of what a friend has told me about an immediate family member. she's currently living with this family member do to Covid and a lack of housing in her area. she has decided to save up and buy a house. How do you deal with a situation where you have to stay with thenarcosis ? This family member got really upset with her one night over bringing her dishes to the sick after she finished her dinner and hasn't spoke 50 words to her in 6-ish months. Is it better for her to stay and save like mad or to leave asap and struggle more to buy a house? how do you recover from CPST when it is all you know.

Ohhoo, I am going to tell my ex narc, I like her when she is sober, then add more till she practices a new habit. Yet never get back with her.

I think I am experiencing this with someone who I thought might turn into a friend. This is interesting. I wonder if the person can change. I guess the answer is no.
