Hi @yogawithdenise, Thank you for watching! Malar bags/ festoons are quite challenging to treat as they are usually caused by fluid trapped in many small chambers. Depending on the cause, they can be camouflaged with filler, or in some cases surgery can be done. Hi @FadeAlmhmad, The purpose of eyelid ptosis correction is to lift the upper eyelid, and restore function to open and close the upper eyelid completely. I usually measure levator muscle function, and eyelid position before surgery, during surgery, and after surgery before the patient leaves the operating room in case additional enhancement is needed. Hi @talksick508, Lower eyelid surgery is to sculpt prolapsed orbital fat that causes eye bags that are always visible. If your allergies result in puffiness under your eyes due to fluid retention, this can occur again, but temporarily, and will appear a little different from eye bags caused by prolapsed fat. Insomnia can cause temporary inflammation and discoloration under the eyes that appear like a form of eye bags, but again temporarily, and a little different from eye bags that are always visible because they are caused by prolapsed orbital fat. Hi @keralastylecooking3977, You can expect several months of recovery time from a skin graft in the lower eyelids, where appearance gradually improves, with up to a year for full surgical healing. 4 days is not enough for adequate healing where it's not noticeable by others. Ectropion usually happens when lower eyelid skin is removed causing a skin shortage, as well as compromising the muscle behind the lower eyelid with the incision. I usually advise at least 6 months after the previous surgery to consider a revision as temporary swelling from your first surgery can make a procedure inaccurate.
