Just curious how spaced out was each vial? The injector at the med spa I go to recommends 2-4 vials one month apart but I would like to do them 2-3 months apart due to finances ;(

It’s expensive. I spent 3,000 dollars for 4 treatments. 5 -6 weeks apart. It did make a difference. Definitely. Not planning a getting another one this year though. I think I will probably get am LTD device. There is just something weird about it. No one has commented on me looking different. Too me my face looks puffy in pictures. But I have gained weight so that might be it. I’m 57. I kind of think I probably should just accept it.

Dr Ellis! Can you please do a series on what kind of non- surgical procedures are available? What to expect and not expect from them, if you do a few of them or not, when to start being proactive about different concerns (example, face lift is wayyy down the line of options, and you don't get one at 30). How often you do you get them done initial series, and how often to maintain/ what to expect? Can you do a few videos on specific categories of concern that patients come in for, and what options are available in each category? Without knowing what is available, and what those treatments are good for/ when they're out of budget.. Its honestly difficult to know who is the right Provider. lt is also helpful if we have an idea of the amount of TIME we need to invest, or if it requires multiple sessions in 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years? If the down time is 2 weeks, I'm not going to do that with a 6 month old at home or when I have to go to a conference. 😂 We often see what people got done, as well as before and after. But we don't see what their options were, what the doctor advised and based on what factors. Nor the differences in pros and cons, time frames.. Or what to expect from a good physician- what they might ask us, possibly to answer questions we hadn't even considered. We want to be prepared, know the options on the table, and therefore find a good provider! 🥰 Personally, I want to know if microcoring is expensive, would address mild jowels, and what could be better or more affordable. I want to know if PRP & Sculptra are more natural or longer sustained options to filler for hollow under eyes and lip volume loss. Do you think, instead of reviewing a skincare routine (like you did on Mixed Makeup) you could address the kind of aesthetic topics that someone is thinking about finding a provider to address in clinic? Use them as an example of what good options might be in different categories of "concern" or interest? What the pros and cons are for each, and what the cost each option is- relative to the others. Who might be a good candidate who isn't? That would DEFINITELY give us some insight on what to research before we select a provider. 😃 Mayyyyybe. just maybe... you could take us on someone's journey..? Orrr .. a few of your viewers could submit some photos, and you could use a few good examples for educational content. Covering a few different categories, and going over what services could possibly address different aesthetic concerns in general categories- giving us an idea what's out there, it's uses, and its practical limitations. I WANT TO KNOW ALL THE THINGS! 😂

Thank you for this video! Such good information! I was wondering about the pain so I'm glad you addressed it! Before I started watching derms on KZbin in fall of 2021 (shortly after I turned 41) I was opposed to in office derm treatments. Now though, I definitely want Botox on my 11s and on my chin for the stupid dimpling effect you mentioned in one of your videos. ha ha I also now want to get Sculptra done when I'm a little older. I don't really show my age that much since I'm half Asian. My mom is full Asian, Korean. She just turned 80 and she looks 60 and she has no skin care routine and doesn't even wear sunscreen every day! I'm half white though so I need a skin care routine and I now know that I would like to get Sculptra done in the future, if I can afford it.

It's not the bb nodules that freaked me out. It was the stories of Scuptra migrating either through the face or the entire body and pushing out the skin. I know it was because of the injector, but it still happened. Absolutely terrifying.

I would say it would be unusual to be wowed by a single Sculptra session. Many people have lost quite a bit of volume before they ever start injectables like this and it can take several sessions and vials to really see exciting results! Which other biostimulators are you referring to?

Such a good video. Would be nice to see a video on PRF & EZ-Gel... People say "it's all you" but I find myself kinda sceptical .. I understand prp, but I'm nervous about how the EZ-Gel gets processed by the body and how it changes texture & volume. The VA sends me to Dr. Howell here in Kailua Oahu . She did liquid nitrogen on a few spots and then prescribed Calcipotriene and Fluorouracil creams. My face look really bad after a few weeks of using it , but after about a month the spots and abrasions on my face have almost gone away. Just a little redness in some spots.
