This interpretation just sounds like Buddhism. My understanding is that the Buddhist understanding of the dharma is to end suffering by relinquishing attachments, which is what this video says Sikhi is about, but Sikhi also teaches direct action to provide equality for those for whom it has been denied. That you could get also perhaps by reading Peter Kropotkin but the Guru Granth Sahib puts it very beautifully and comprehensively. However I see Sikhi as being a little closer to what Kropotkin teaches than what we see in Buddhism. The understanding that attachment causes suffering is incorporated into Sikhi but if that's all Sikhi taught, we wouldn't need it and could just be Buddhists instead. Women suffering under misogyny, low-caste people suffering under the caste system, minorities being persecuted by majoritarian forces, these are not simply suffering due to attachment or lack of understanding within their mind, but lack of understanding within the minds of OTHERS who harm them. And therefore to achieve unity and liberation we must actively abolish starvation and persecution. It's not enough to just meditate all day up in a monastery somewhere content that the world is fake, when others are being oppressed or having to starve. Sikhi doesn't merely liberate us from our attachments, as Buddhism does, it liberates us so that we can intervene in the world.

There are plenty of Buddhists who dedicate themselves to ending suffering in the world. They are Buddhists who have taken a Bhodisatva oath. It's only Sikhs who have an extremely superficial view of Buddhism and want to paint it as something negative, that say "Buddhists believe you should just escape society and live in a cave." That's not what Buddhists think, it's our bigoted interpretation of them to make our panth seem better.

I remember as kid I used to play by making my hand an aeroplane. Pretending like my hand is separate from me. In fact my hand was always me as much as my head is. As per Sikhi , yes it is just a play the 1 (God) playing . Catch is that that the 1 is playing with the 1. There is no difference between the Creator and creation , all is 1.just like me and my hand is all me.
