What is Star Bitizen? The Twitch Chat Based Game for Streaming Communities as debuted at Citizen Con

A Mini Playable Universe for Twitch Chat Engagement
Players will keep your chat hyperactive as they command their ships and perform missions. Star Bitizen is a space game overlay for your stream that communicates with the MaidenB0T TwitchBot. This is a Streamer's dream come true for reaching and keeping more viewers!
Star Bitizen is played by issuing special commands in chat while you watch your favorite streamer. As you move about the Star Bitizen Mini-Verse and trade cargo, smuggle, patrol, pirate, or bounty hunt.. you will earn StarBits. These StarBits can be used to buy new ships and expand your fleet. Some streamers may also enable a feature to exchange StarBits for channel points to be used for many other purposes. Starbits earned on a particular Twitch channel are only for that channel. Fleets are amassed only per Twitch channel as well. (More info at starbitizen.com ). All animations that you see in this video are generated via the people in chat issuing the commands that I describe during the video. I was in direct communication about it with people from CIG who talked to their legal on my behalf along with documentation I submitted. I also presented it in a booth at Citizen Con in LA where Sandy Roberts and I had a conversation about it. She was impressed and loved the idea. Chris Roberts even signed one of my Star Bitizen magnets at the VIP after party :) Basically, Cloud Imperium Games has been aware of this project for much of its existence and some of them play it as well.

Same bugs as well!! Why, would anyone play this? If I was you I would keep it in Alpha for at least 10 years, you will be rich. Then when you decide to actually do something, just talk about what your going to do in the future and mainly concentrate on........yep......Cargo and selling ships!!

@@Goyahkla100 I know your comment is meant to be a knock mostly on CIG and Star Citizen with its bugs and what it has taken to bring that to fruition. As for Star Bitizen, it could really be themed for any scifi genre. Being actively played for over a year now as development has constantly taken place there are thousands of dedicated players across 15 different streaming channels who have helped me identify and eliminate bugs along the way. Ironically I do still call it alpha 1.0, but a major combat update is in the next release so I will be bumping the release number. By the way, it is completely free to play at this point in time. It is a passion project from someone who loves Star Citizen for people who love Star Citizen. There are also ships available in Star Bitizen that are still concept only in Star Citizen.
