Great vid. Just throwing it out there, you might have the attack/release settings on your mic a little too long.

Thanks... I am trying to figure this sound part out. I will google what that means and see what I can do to tweak it. Always appreciate helpful advice. Thanks again..

Great one. I have horrible GAS. Recently I tried using just 3 discs per round for 3 weeks. I did feel unburdened, but a little lost. For me Innova rules by number of weight,plastic, and mold options. Favorite 3 pack - Mako3, Leopard, Wraith. I own and use many brands, of course ! Oh, and the new Trash Panda Inner Core putter is an arrow ! Lol.

We have never had it so good with the number and quality of discs out there, and so it is easy to get drawn into needing "just one more disc". I am trying to look at getting back to really creating a minimal bag that I really know and trust, but it is hard not to have that little dopamine hit on Fridays when I run by the store on my day off to check out the used bin. We need to keep each other accountable for the GAS we spread. :D I come from throwing mostly Innova so I get it. Thanks for watching.

I agree with some of what that guy at the store said 😂! I bet if he had it to do over again he might mention instead that not all companies have all flight patterns covered but are continually adding molds to attempt to get there. Great video!!

My bag/collection is slowly becoming more and more Innova for the simple reason that they are the only brand I can buy on my way home from work.

There is definitely something to be said about being able to pick up that disc when you need it. Actually... most of the time it is not a "need" issue but rather when we want to feel better about our game... Hey! New plastic! :) Availability is a big part of brand loyalty. Thanks so much for watching!

I do like the idea of throwing discs from a single brand or very few brands even as a recreational player. All the discs will feel the same in the hand. The flight numbers will make more sense relative to the other discs from the brand. It limits you to a certain number of discs forcing you to learn to throw those discs instead of blaming the discs and constantly buying new ones.
@ogdiscgolfer Жыл бұрын
I totally agree... I try to limit my discs to minimal brands just so I don't get overloaded trying to find the "right" one, but focus more on learning to be consistent with the ones I have. Of course I always reserve the right to be a total liar if a special disc like the Berg comes along. :D Thanks so much for watching!

Thaks for letting me know, I will go back and see what is up with it. It the sound weird on the whole thing or just the interview? I had to try to clean that up because there was some weird rumbel/machine running next door and I may have over done it. Thanks Update: I scanned back through it and it seems like the transitions were making the audio look slightly off right at the beginning of a cut... was that what you saw? Thanks again.

I had to laugh at myself while watching this video. I've been playing almost two years and noticed I've acquired so many discs was starting to have trouble keeping track, so I created a spreadsheet (I'm an engineer in that other life) with all the flight numbers, manufacturers, plastic types, colors, etc. It also included current retail price (according to Infinite Discs) and what I had paid for each disc to best of my recollection. I also highlighted what's in my bag. It's been horrifying, to see its almost 90 discs now and how much I've spent, but quite helpful when considering what to use in practice or during a round and of course what slots are open for new discs.

I totally get it! I have to write inside what the flight numbers are of all my discs because I have too many to keep track of. I don't dare write price info on them in case my wife happens to see :D I keep trying to figure out the best storage/organization option. Do I go according to flight numbers, brands or keepers vs. players? It is a terribly wonderful problem to have too many discs. I am thinking about trying to give a way a large batch to stop the madness, just gotta figure out what I can give away without needing counseling. :D Thanks so much for commenting!

Hey thanks for that I think there was a lot of noise and so I tried to use AI filter to only semi success. But I'll try to go back and take a look at it. Hopefully my later videos are much better with the Sound. Thanks so much for watching

My wife pretended to like disc golf on our first date in 1994, and hasn’t paid attention to the sport since. :) I think she is just glad I have something to keep me out of her hair! :)
