During the second world was Canada developed an airborne dispersion system for botulinum toxin and for a few months between the planeload of material being assembled and the first atomic bomb test it was probably the deadliest weapon in existence. After the war Canada destroyed its biological and chemical weapons, but many other countries have continued to work on biological and chemical weapon, and it is almost certain that they will have at least practiced weaponizing botulinum toxin just in case. The production, dilution, and distribution of botulinum toxin for Botox injections is very carefully regulated and monitored by the government.

LSD is usually distributed as little paper pads (so I've heard). The paper itself is not LSD, but rather it has a drop of liquid dropped onto it that contains the liquid. So consuming 1g of LSD is a pretty absurd idea. Maybe if you find a whole pallet somewhere, but I figure eating a pallet of paper kills you before LSD does^^

Yeah think of how little liquid LSD it takes to make you trip (well not intensely the whole time but feel the effects of) for 24h. Lsd is also easy to destabilize. Youd likely need a professional lab with multiple people to even produce it in that quantity.

​@@user-xg8yy7yl1d 24 hours is the time it takes for it to leave the body. the whole trip is about 8-12 hours with it dying down on the intensity at about the 6-7 hour mark. 1g is not that much in terms of size but it is pretty costly. i calculated it to be like 50000 but thats with going off a bunch of vials so it could be way cheaper than that and its easy to get but no sane person would dose themselves with that much lsd. not to mention there is no known lethal dose for lsd only speculation and the 1g is not even the correct theorized dose

1g of heroin is roughly 2 days worth of heroin for a typical user. Street heroin potency can vary greatly and people have been dying from overdoses in growing numbers for decades. 1g of LSD is 10 thousand tabs and there are no cases of people dying from LSD overdoses. In terms of threat to health there's a significant difference between the two.

however, mental health considered, LSD-induced psychosis and persistant hallucinations are more often a problem than long-term mental health issues induced by opiates. What is dangerous in opiates is withdrawal syndrome, however there is rarely a reactive psychosis from them. You see I think suicide due to psychosis, psychosis and anxiety are underestimated toll connected to hallucinogen's use, but believe me the struggle and suffering is more real for those than broken leg or open wound.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people use the term "poisonous" and "venomous" interchangeably They're not. Both are toxic and lethal, but completely different. If you have trouble with this, just remember that poison must be ABSORBED (eating, inhaling, touching, etc). Venom must be INJECTED. So any creature with a stinger, fangs, quills, barbs, etc that secrete a liquid indented to kill is not poisonous. It's venomous. Btw, the most toxic thing on earth is BTX Type-H.

It actually depends on whether it's organic Mercury or elemental Mercury. Elemental Mercury is absorbed (not sure about correct word to use) into the body very poorly that it cannot penetrate through just the skin, which is why you can literally put it on your bare skin and be fine (as long as your hands are wound and injury free as that gives way got it to be absorbed). The Mercury vapor, and over time exposure is the danger of elemental Mercury. The lethal danger that is associated with Mercury, is as a result of a organic mercury. Dymethyl Mercury is an exam as this type is the most lethal as 1-2 drops on latex gloves is enough to kill you. However you shouldn't mess with Mercury either way unless you are absolutely sure you know what you are doing or are trying to commit die. Or know what type of Mercury you have. Tbf, organic mercury has been made illegal in the US (that's honestly surprising but OK).

Chad Mojito: As an European who is of rather small build and lightweight by European standards, I was quite surprised when I found myself in the middle of a group of Chinese travellers at a Norwegian airport recently. I felt like a giant between Hobbits. Considering that China makes at least 1/6th of the world population, an average weight of 62kg for humans seems legit to me. What struck me during that encounter was, that you could easily fit a vastly larger amount of Chinese people into an airplane compared to northern Europeans or northern Americans. The Chinese people are not just efficient workers, they are efficient by their body-size too.

I think a lot of poisonous insects/amphibians develop their poison via a diet. 1. Monarch butterflies develop their poison by means of feasting on toxic milkweed 2. Poison Dart frogs develop batrachotoxin from their diet of ants and termites and sequester the poison from their stinger venom. 3. Ladybugs also derive their poison in part by sequestering the alkaloids after digestion of arthropods such as other insects.

What's glaringly horrible for you to leave out in your "comparison" of heroin and LSD is the fact that LSD requires doses on the microgram level to induce an effect, where as you need closer to a tenth of a gram of heroin to get an effect. I love this channel and I love all these videos, but I agree with many people in the comments that the LSD part in this video was very misleading. LSD is one of the least dangerous drugs out there and it would be insanely hard to die from taking it. There should have been more context provided when LSD was mentioned, because it made it sound a lot more dangerous than it actually is.

1 gram is 1 million micrograms. A standard dose/tab of LSD is 100 micrograms. It is stored on sheets of blotter paper or gel squares usually that could definitely weigh a couple grams but that’s not the drug itself. Therefore you would have to eat 10,000 doses of LSD to die. A standard sheet has 100 tabs. The cost of a standard sheet varies greatly, $150-200 on the dark web, from a dealer it can be twice that. So you'd have to buy 100 sheets, which you'd probably get for 18k $USD at minimum. Even if you did buy all that with the intention of overdosing it would be physically impossible to eat that much paper.
