@@spawnofchaos9422 There are many problems with your statement, you're not providing any sorce. Also your statement can be debunked. The legend of Azi Dahak Trace back to 1000 BC, Book the book of Genesis was written around 1500 BC, all biblical scholars agree on that, therefore the story of Genesis is much older. Also the meaning of the name "Azi Dahak" is uncertain, the meaning of name "Satan" means accuser. Azi Dahak, it is said to have three mouths, Six Eyes and Three heads. But nowhere in the Bible it says that Satan has six eyes three mouths and 3 heads, in the Book of Revelation it says that Satan has seven heads, but thats a symbolic meaning. Lastly, Azi Dahak, is the son of Angra Mainyu, Ahuras Mazdas's foe. But Satan he's actually an angel, also son of God. In conclusion, we can clearly see that the Bible is not based from Zoroastrianism.

Thanks for this video. Noted a mistake (I'm Muslim). The Qur'an does not say that Ismael was the favored son, neither does it say that Isaac was favored. Also, in certain early interpretations of the Qur'an, it was Isaac who was almost sacrificed (although today's mainstream interpretation is that it was Ismael). Also noting that the "stoning of the devil" is the only Hajj ritual that is not mentioned in the Qur'an.

Hi! Can you explain to me how Islam claims that Ishmael is the preferred son? There is no evidence or statement textually to suggest that. Both Ishmael and Isaac are considered prophets to their people. Ishmael was the first born and married into Arabs whereby his children were Arab naturalized. The only prophet from the lineage of Ishmael is Muhammad. Isaac on the other hand according to the Quran and bible has in his lineage Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon, Zakariya and John the Baptist. The question in Islam has never been about preferred son. The Islamic belief is that Ishmael was the sacrificial lamb as he was the eldest son, but this doesn’t suggest that he is preferred. Just wanted to point that out.
@SpJrD
@SpJrD 4 жыл бұрын
sonofagun00 It’s Not that Ishmael was a preferred per se, Ishmael was first born son, so the event of sacrificed naturally happens to him. First born son are Always the dearest, that’s just natural to make it difficult for Abraham to do the sacrifice. Second, in Genesis 21:18 the story clearly shows that when Hagar was searching for water for Ishmael in the desert and angel told her he will have a great nation. This is a prophesy that something good will happen. Eventually, Ishmael sons followed Abraham’s teaching and centuries passed till one man ruled Macca and brought the pagans to worship them thus breaking the teachings of Abraham. Also, In Isaiah 21: 13-17 Claims that “the burden on Arabs” So what is that burden? It’s clearly means a prophecy that Arabs will carry a religion task align with trenching of prophets in Israel. That’s the reason there was Jews in Madina (a city north of Macca). It is mentioned in Isaiah 42:11 clearly shows that people of Sala should sing of joy... and Sala is a mountain in Madina. Jews were waiting for a prophet to appear in Madina AND who is descendant of Ishmael. But reality is A portion of Jews rejected Prophet Muhammad just as their ancestors rejected Jesus as the messiah, keep in mind that both of them seen their miracles and rejected their prophesies

There was never unanimous agreement among scholars that Ishmael (as) was the son to be sacrificed. By far, the majority opinion is that it was Ishmael (as), but the Qur'an does not actually specify. The episode, however is placed among verses about him. The very earliest opinions, those of the Prophet's (saws) companions, were more evenly divided on the matter. I have always considered it a needless point of division. If God wanted muslims to know, if it mattered, He would have specified it. None of us were present. Allah knows, and we do not. I do not expect you to know that little fun fact, since your area of expertise seems to be early Christianity. I enjoy your channel and appreciate this installment at this very important occasion for muslims.

If you want details about the Black Stone: The Black Stone (Arabic: ٱلْحَجَرُ ٱلْأَسْوَد‎, al-Ḥajaru al-Aswad, "Black Stone") is a rock set into the eastern corner of the Kaaba, the ancient building located in the center of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is revered by Muslims as an Islamic relic which, according to Muslim tradition, dates back to the time of Adam and Eve. The stone was venerated at the Kaaba in pre-Islamic pagan times. According to Islamic tradition, it was set intact into the Kaaba's wall by the prophet Muhammad in 605 CE, five years before his first revelation. Since then it has been broken into fragments and is now cemented into a silver frame in the side of the Kaaba. Its physical appearance is that of a fragmented dark rock, polished smooth by the hands of pilgrims. Islamic tradition holds that it fell from heaven as a guide for Adam and Eve to build an altar. It has often been described as a meteorite. The Black Stone is attached to the east corner of the Kaaba, known as al-Rukn al-Aswad (the Corner of the Black Stone). Another stone, known as the Hajar as-Sa’adah (Stone of Felicity) is set into the Kaaba's opposite corner, al-Rukn al-Yamani (the Yemeni Corner), at a somewhat lower height than the Black Stone. The choice of the east corner may have had ritual significance; it faces the rain-bringing east wind (al-qabul) and the direction from which Canopus rises. There are many theories regarding the Black Stone; The meteorite-origin theory of the Black Stone has seen it likened by some writers to the meteorite which was placed and worshipped in the Greek Temple of Artemis.(more research needed) Islamic tradition holds that the Black Stone fell from Jannah to show Adam and Eve where to build an altar, which became the first temple on Earth. Muslims believe that the stone was originally pure and dazzling white, but has since turned black because of the sins of the people who touch it. Its black colour is deemed to symbolize the essential spiritual virtue of detachment and poverty for God (faqr) and the extinction of ego required to progress towards God (qalb). According to a prophetic tradition, "Touching them both (the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani) is an expiation for sins." Adam's altar and the stone were said to have been lost during Noah's Flood and forgotten. Ibrahim (Abraham) was said to have later found the Black Stone at the original site of Adam's altar when the angel Jibrail revealed it to him.[16] Ibrahim ordered his son Ismael - who in Muslim belief is an ancestor of Muhammad - to build a new temple, the Kaaba, into which the stone was to be embedded. Another tradition says that the Black Stone was originally an angel that had been placed by God in the Garden of Eden to guard Adam. The angel was absent when Adam ate the forbidden fruit and was punished by being turned into a jewel - the Black Stone. God granted it the power of speech and placed it at the top of Abu Qubays, a mountain in the historic region of Khurasan, before moving the mountain to Mecca. When Ibrahim took the Black Stone from Abu Qubays to build the Kaaba, the mountain asked Ibrahim to intercede with God so that it would not be returned to Khurasan and would stay in Mecca.

Does Isaac exist in Muslim tradition? What happens to him and/or his mother Sarah?
@asfandyarbabar7317
@asfandyarbabar7317 3 жыл бұрын
Yes he does, his name is Prophet Ishaq (Peace Be Upon Him), the son of Prophet Abraham, I don’t why the Admin of the channel said Prophet Ismail/Ishmael was the favourite, Prophet Abraham loved both his children, the Muslim belief is that Prophet Abraham/Ibrahim was unable to have children with his first wife Sarah, so he married Hagar/Hajara, from whom Prophet Ismail was born, he kept this family in Makkah. After about 10/15 years when Sarah PBUH was about 80 or 90 years old, 3 Angels, Jibraeel(Gabriel), Mikaeel(Michael), and Israfil came to the couple and gave glad tidings of a Son who’s name would be ISHAQ/ISAAC, who shall be of the Righteous and a Prophet of Allah. Allah also calls Ishaq/Isaac by the name Israel at times. Allah blessed these two sons of Abraham with Prophethood, and even gave some of their descendants Prophethood. From Isaac/Ishaq, Prophet Yaaqub/Jacob, was born who lived to see Abraham & Sarah. From Yaquub/Jacob, Prophet Yusuf/Joseph was born, and hence from the bloodline of Prophet Ishaq came many Prophets like Dawood(David), Sulayman(Solomon), and then the last one being Prophet Isaa/Jesus, (who muslims believe is Alive under Allahs Protection in Heaven and will return when Allah wills.) From the Son Ismaeel/Ishamel, there is only one Prophet who came, Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the Last of Allahs Prophets. Isaac and Ishmael are both loved and thoroughly respected by Muslims as are their Mothers Sarah and Hajar. Hope it answers the question. 💓

Hey love the show . I’m just wondering I’ve heard Jesus was of royal blood and had siblings , or was he just a carpenter? I’ve had a few discussions with people. Perhaps it’s false info . But I would love to hear your opinion
@pansepot1490
@pansepot1490 4 жыл бұрын
In a few passages of the New Testament it’s clearly mentioned that Jesus had brothers and sisters. When Christianity adopted the dogma of the perpetual virginity of Mary (Jesus’ mother) theologians came up with every sort of explanation to reinterpret those passages and show that Jesus didn’t have siblings. By all accounts Jesus was an illiterate peasant from Galilee and his father was a carpenter. Two gospels writers (who never knew him and wrote decades after Jesus death mostly rearranging second hand accounts) provide a genealogy of Jesus making him a descendant of king David. However, since the two genealogies are totally different scholars think they are made up in an attempt to make Jesus fulfill the prophecy that the Messiah had to be a descendant of king David. If you are interested there’s plenty of sources on the internet (feel free to check what I said). My only recommendation is to take care and read material from scholars (like this channel) or from neutral sites that can provide scholarly sources. People with a heavy religious perspective interpret the texts in a manner that suits their preformed beliefs, often twisting, cherrypicking, ignoring and even making things up.

I'm interested in the costs of the Hajj, surely it must be expensive given the limited visas and high demand? Are the costs different for different countries, Do the visas cost money directly, or is there a bidding system? Is there a system like popular concerts in the USA, with a ticket "drop" that is largely bought up by resellers? Are there compassionate visas given to the poor/sick? Are the accommodations/transportation options mostly state-owned or private, or a mix? Such a massive influx of people for only a few weeks every year... I'd imagine many temporary workers must flock to Mecca, there must be a massive transportation rush. What a logistical problem! I know these things aren't the focus of this channel, just curious. If anyone knows of some good videos on these topics, share with me please.

I can share a little from what I know, how it is managed by my country, Malaysia which is a Muslim majority country. The Saudi Arabia government allocate a certain number of visas for each country. For Malaysia it is 0.1% of the total population, which is about 31,000 per year. The government of Malaysia created a body called Tabung Haji to manage most aspects of the Hajj operation. This body set up a fund and those who wish to perform the Hajj can open an account and start saving into this fund. Once your deposit reach a certain amount, you can put your name in the queue and you have to wait for your turn which can be as long as 20 years or more. I'm in my 40s and still waiting for mine. As you can see, this is almost a lifelong commitment. Some parents open an account for their kids so that they can save early and be in the queue as soon as possible. Tabung Haji gives profit from this fund back to depositors in a form of dividend and subsidize the costs of the Hajj. At the moment, the actual cost is around USD$6k per person and depositors need to pay only $2.5k. This cost covers flight, transportation, accommodation, meals, healthcare, visa etc. They also have guides and people on the ground in Mecca and other cities to look into the needs and sort out most logistical problems for Malaysians.
