Hey skeletoasty just stopping by to tell you what might be coming up with the gun dev teams for rush week, it’s either going to be the family starts in the basement of a new map for 30 seconds and victims only get 4 bone piles and 5 lock picks, the map is going to be medium sized, or gun might do something different.

I hope "Rush Week" is just gonna be something not very serious. I mean, it's not something you gonna play and grind all the time. Just some mode for fun when you are bored. The player-base division doesn't sound healthy for sure.

@@DrakusBanks Sure sometimes! But a lot of the regular mode can be fairly sweaty at times too. We'll see! I'm just hoping for some exciting news for the anniversary.

Rush mode to me seems like it could be a more intense game mode. Maybe a more scaled back mode with Zero perks & attributes. Something that could give players that "Rush" of adrenaline when playing the game. If all players have zero perks, abilities, no grandpa perks & no visual cues it would truly put them in a more immersive experience. The new map is what makes me believe this as-well. It could be something curated from the ground up to really give you a horror experience. Not only does this help the people that hate rushing gameplay but it also lets GUN focus on Properly tweaking the normal gamemode for Competitive Play. Because thats really what the normal Gamemode has turned into. Every person has a "i must win every game mentality".

Damn you kinda cooked with this reply ngl. You could definitely be on to something with this because I definitely agree with your sentiments of the normal gamemode. Plus people have been itching for a "hardcore" type mode since launch so this certainly has some potential! And even if it's not that, I would still love to see what you've said come to the game in the future. A true horror experience would be very welcome if they can cook something up.

@@Findingsuitcase We NEED Battle Land. If they really secure the TCM2 license I'd guarantee we get that map. Personally I'd like to see that or some form of carnival map would be neat. I also think a cemetery map would be really neat too!

I think rush week Is going to be the dev testing cuz of the “ hosting events to give students their first chance to meet members.” Students meaning players and members meaning new characters maybe?

I get what you're saying! I didn't even think about it from that perspective but that does make a lot of sense. It wouldn't necessarily have to be a PTB from DBD but definitely could be the first big introduction to the newest content coming to the game.

I hope so that bots are made just like from friday the 13th the game. I think with AI or bots tcm would be more fun. Especially when I use Leatherface chasing the bot victims 😂

I was thinking it could be a Hardcore Mode of sorts. No Perks, No Ability Upgrades for Family or Victim. Just straight, skill based gameplay. But the tweet kinda debunks that if its gonna be a specific map for it

I mean a new map could still make that work for a "hardcore" mode. Maybe it has more grass or is darker, etc. Obviously family would have to get something to compensate that but I think this is still definitely a possiblity!

That's fair! I would love to see some single player mode of sorts in this game. The challenges were a ton of fun in F13 so i could only imagine how better they are in this game with the updated graphics/mechanics, etc.

Having a hard time getting a game as a Survivor. Worrisome when you need 3Killers just to play, unlike DBD that only needs 1. To be fair playing the Killer side just isn’t as fun these days.

Yeah they really need to add some more incentive to play Family. Right now too many people are playing Victim. Hopefully they eventually get some bonuses or something to help even out the playerbase!

i think the game mode will be similar to DBD 2 v 8 mode and will have 4 family vs 5 victims.

Ooh that'd be fun! I'm not sure that they'd want that to be permanent though as it'd throw off the "balance" of the game thus far, but with a new map I'd say anything is possible!

They need to make escaping harder and the movement system more realistic and for killers like hands johnny and letherface to grapple so its more harder for the victims and make it so people arent able to troll the killers by just barging em with leland and stabbing em standing right near them and yea its not stealthy really just ran and catch it should be 75 stealth 25 run and catch for the victims

I personally feel like the movement system is pretty good for both family and victim. Sometimes it's a little weird with family hit detection but for the most part I think it's pretty good. If you having grapple troubles, I 100% recommend you run the Grandpa perk, Suffocating Grip. It will be a game changer!

A skin i want for letherface would be the 2022 remake of tcm the realisticness of that letherface would be cool to have in the game and for hands to have skins and maybe one were he has a face on em cause hands if the one who made letherface to become letherface and for hands to not be able to be knocked over and or grappled and they need to make it to were you can like torture the victims when they are about to die and when the victims see what happend to there body they let off a scream or something lol but that maybe to gory but tcm is a gory franchise😅

Yeah that might be a bit much for them to implement in the game but it's a good idea nonetheless! At there very least I think one day the could definitely add the skin to the 2022 movie assuming they can get the license for it!

I'm more worried about the playerbase split than it leaving gamepass. That's still a fair concern but most regular players have already bought the game or will buy it. I'm really really hoping they have the lobby issue figured out and that this new mode doesn't make it worse. Guess we will see.

I'll personally be waiting until it goes WAY more on sale before I buy it. And that's just the people who are cheap like me, casual players from gamepass are not going to spend $31 plus tax on it.

@@skeletoasty I just can't believe that a multiplayer game like that would be taken off game pass. That had to be guns decision. Because day of the tentacle is a very obscure cult game that Xennials and older played and that fucker has been on game pass for FIVE YEARS 😂 also 4 kings casino has been free in the Microsoft store (not GP) since 2019 and they make a ton of money because they rely exclusively on DLC. Just my personal opinion but I feel like this moment was a very bad time to start charging, especially since they're going to start splitting the player base already with the rush thing.

I mean Wes stated he was open to it going back on GP in the future but who knows. At the end of the day I guess we don't know who's decision it was and how it'll affect the game but just have to keep an open mind and stay positive about it.

They made some adjustments in last weeks update! They buffed a few grandpa perks and also lowered the tiers of some. Definitely give them another look when you're feeling up to it and you might change your mind about the change!
