A friend of mine is practicing the very same OBR list Andrew Hughes ran. We accidentally discovered the major weakness of it - eggs in a basket. And when you shut off Nagash's Ward Save and leave him alone with some Kroxigor he does NOT last long at all.....

About the Reclusians in Stormcast: They are a good hammer/anvil with their 5+ ward. Compared to what other armies bring you are right, they aren't good. But SCE has pretty bad internal balance and reinforced Reclusians are good for their points because the other hammer units like reinforced Fulminators and so on are well over 400 points.

Yeah SCE are all C tier or lower units except longstrikes that are the only A tier unit. Once the honor guard ruling gets fixed they will be screwed.

@@salsathe4th As a SCE player the news that our upcoming book will essentially just be a reprint of the index is very concerning. We have a good chunk of units that are "fixable" with points drops like Yndrasta, Fulminators, Stardrake and so on. But there are also many units that have absolutely abyssmal warscrolls and no points decreases would fix them. Like almost every foot-hero that isn't a priest or wizard, the Lord Vigilant, Lord Aquillor, the Stormstrike Chariot, Vindictors etc. SCE NEED Longstrikes to be very, very good because our melee units are so mediocre. If we don't have at least one good shooting unit then the army will just get run over by any other dedicated melee army. I honestly don't want Longstrikes to be this massive crutch. SCE are always depicted as these heroic paladins that fight where the battle is fiercest. So come on GW, make SCE the heroes that you always depict them as!

Obr seem to be the gatekeeper of 5:0. And vokmortian isn't a sleeper, it is just a way to smuggle deathriders into a non general regiment. I am afraid that gw will adjust them to the grave with points increase to the only things doing dmg. Also, it is one of the few faction in the game you can see 3/4 battleformations in use.
