I don’t think Sharon was off point. I’d be equally frustrated if I had to explain something I’d very clearly communicated over and over again. She clearly gave examples and amounts but she wasn’t listened to and just talked over. She wasn’t just saying “maybe maybe”. She gave clear examples of monetary costs. Especially just to then be wiped off as “oh ok so you’d XYZ”. Place for grace always, we never know what their schedules have been like and sometimes they film late + they have big girl careers on top of this so sometimes battery low is a real thing. But it did feel like she got talked over a lot/had her input dismissed and not actually listened to.

I like the way Tammy handles differences in options. Most of the time she stays quiet and let the other person finish then calmly state hers. Beatrice is a very passionate person with a loud voice 😄and I think sometimes doesn’t realise that she interrupts others and then say “that’s what I’m saying”. Beatrice please let people land …. Softly 😂. Sharon likes to give benefit of the doubt which is a good thing but sometimes can be far fetched for others. I love you ladies. HOWEVER this episode was VERY AWKWARD . Please listen to each other and try to see each others point of view. Counselling might be beneficial, because it will be a shame to see this tension continue ladies
@mangokilla1273 ай бұрын
That's a good brief on their takes- agreed with Sharon's being "benefit of the doubt" side, Beatrice often playing the "devil's advocate" takes, and Tammy going middle of the road. I like the dynamic they have, but maybe working on the ability to process the others' viewpoint without having so much tension will help them out.

The hypothetical Sharon brought up actually happened to me and some friends. We got split up from our pre-booked seats so this mum and her young kids wouldn’t be separated. We didn’t agree and the flight attendants gave us an ultimatum and refused to let the plane take off unless we did move. It was years ago and we were mad young, so didn’t push it more but people are really out there pushing their poor planning onto others.

Sharon’s plane example happened to me, but both seats were economy and my three year old was placed two rows ahead of me at the last minute. I was fastening him in his seat and telling him where I would be if he needed me and the woman next to him offered me her seat. I’ll never forget that.
@tapiwamakanda63483 ай бұрын
Sharon I get you , it’s very very realistic and hypothetical. It happened to me mum and daughter last minute seats allocated mum in premium economy and child couldn’t get a seat . Me as the solo traveller was asked to switch and go to economy and I did . But guess what , got there and the bloody tv wasn’t working . Never switching ever again . But I recently switched 😏on my trip to Morocco as they had a 2month old baby but it was easyJet basic seats . Other than that never again
@tvdavis3 ай бұрын
I hate the “switch seats” request (which ends up being a demand when people think you are somehow beneath them). Sit in the seat you were assigned & before quiet. I have gotten onto a plane and found someone sitting in my seat, and they told me to go and sit in their seat instead. Then the flight attendant tried to tell me to do the same. Fortunately, enough other passengers were on my side and told the a$$h01e to move, or I would’ve gotten arrested and taken off of the plane, because there is no way I am sitting in a cramped middle seat for six hours just because someone else didn’t plan better. I fear that the recent political announcements in the US will make situations like this far more common for women of color, because they are already mad.

Not being short / abrupt with others when you feel a bit frustrated. 2. Not being dismissive of a different POV or not making the person feel like they’re taking rubbish. But sha we know you’re friends and all. Just things that can help avoid micro aggressions in general which we all experience in friendships /relationships from time to time.

I had to pause the episode because it became so uncomfortable to listen to as I sensed tension. Then went to the comment section here and saw comments that echoed it. I think Sharon seemed over it after they said her hypothetical didn't seem like a likely scenario. It became hard to watch after that cause the rest of her contributions seemed off. Its probably not that deep but maybe just be a bit more mindful of HOW you disagree with each other. It can throw the flow of the episode off. Love you always though!

But idt that's possible cause why would the person at the back pass up prem? And why would someone with heart make someone who paid for prem go all the way to the back of the plane? That's unfair. Cause what if the seatmate was disabled? Or elderly what then? She'd leave the child at the back. Once when I was young I was at the back and my mom was in front. My mom gave up her seat up front. That's a fair exchange

The plane situation happens a lot. If parents don’t pay the extra to select seats, the seats are randomly assigned and families are spilt up. Some parents choose to cause each seat selection can add 100s to the cost. Then just hope people are willing to switch. I also understand her distinction that it depends on what she has to sacrifice. Sometimes I feel they choose to misunderstand her.

So generally Sharon’s scenario can occur if the particular flight has many families on board and the siting is abit difficult but usually the airline will place child with or near parent. They will switch up seats or upgrade child speaking from being in the airline industry for a long time. Yeah but I would also not switch. We shall call the air hostess and let them manage it for the family. They will look at the flight passenger list and manage it from there. 🤭
@AB24Shine3 ай бұрын
Separating families happens regularly on US airlines. The Dept of Transportation recently had to urge airlines to allow families to be seated together and even then, I don’t think all airlines are enforcing this.

I am a flight attendant and it’s very common for the child/children and parent to be split up, it’s a realistic scenario happens almost every flight. The parents assume the free RANDOM allocation seating will sit them together.. random allocation means what it says, very irresponsible on the parents behalf as passengers are not obligated to move if they don’t want to 😂

A lot of people spend all their money on their wedding. I’ve seen a lot of couples do that. £20k isn’t a small amount. You’re better off cutting your coat and save for maybe 5/10 year anniversary and get the house you NEED to live in. I don’t understand spending stupid amounts on a wedding as a sacrifice for a HOUSE. Plane seat? That’s my seat. I’m not changing a whole class for a 14hr flight. Even the guy wouldn’t do that lol. Even if it’s a child when you can off the belt go and see your child. But that’s not my problem so sorry.
