Stock, this car has 420hp with a 4.0TT V8. This one is not stock, lol... On a 28 degree day in Michigan, we were able to get a 3.32s 0-60 time without launching. Launching on a warmer day with stickier tires, I'd expect this to be around 2.9-3.0s

The S7 definitely feels like a bigger car on the inside. The dash and display are still analog, but are really well done. I'd say it's a great cockpit. I love the B9 because of the digital dash. Feels about the same as far as luxury/ comfort.

@@builtbyzach 44k🤦‍♂️ . I have a bmw 535i twin turbo with more than twice the milage and a jb4 never have had an issue with the turbos. Audi really dropped the ball with these oil IMHO 🤷‍♂️. Have you had a similar issue with yours?

If you're going anything more than stage 1, you need to look at the DS1 instead. OTS maps will work much better for you unless you get one custom tuned, and even then the tuner will want to use DS1.

15 and 16 have completely different headlights from each other. 2012-15 is C7(pre-facelift), 16-18 is C7.5 (facelift).

@@Carwash1989 not so much difficult as time consuming. Pretty much every aftermarket turbo supplier for these cars will not warranty the turbos if you don’t take the screen out. The stock original screen clogged up therefore starving the turbos of oil They’ve since come out with a few revisions but even the newer screens still clog up over time

It lowers in dynamic mode. But it usually doesn’t air out like that unless you have a leak. If it was aired out the whole car would air out even as the back was still at the normal height in this video.

look up cete lowering module on youtube. you can get that and lower your car from your phone.

You can lower the car via VCDS which basically just "tricks" the car into thinking it's higher than it is. You can also buy an aftermarket controller (H&R, CETE, AK-Racing-47, etc) that basically intercepts the CAN signal, and allows you to control the ride height via an app and also via the MMI screen.

Hi ! Planning to get one for myself. A year 2012 with 60k mileage. Previous owner had it tuned to 550HP. Planning to do the oil screen strainer kit from JH Motorsports. Does the engine and transmission hold 5xx horsepower nicely ? Or would there be issues in the long run running 5xx hp for a daily.

I'm pushing 850+ on my S6. It'll hold up fine with 500 as long as you do regular maintenance on them. Keep your oil changes to 3-5k miles.

This is why the first think I will do is remove the oil filters to the turbos. They always get clogged.

So when over 4k rpms the oil feed lines to the turbo completely bypass the main oil filter which is why those screens are in to begin with. They did that to ensure proper oil flow for the turbos(as long as they arent clogged its efficient) what I hear most do is there was a platform that offered a solution with a washable filter and a guide to relocate the screen to an easier to maintain location and just make it part of easy regular maintenance.

This specific one has been sold. Keep up to date on regular maintenance, and if you do a flash tune/ upgrades, make sure to upgrade other components! The stock turbos blew on this car before the RS7 turbos were added after the video was shot

I've been going back and forth about trading my 2014 550i Drive for a 2018 S7 and doing an APR tune. Anything I should know? Just trying to get feedback from S7 owners who have stock and tuned. Pros x Cons, best tuning & mods. Any advice is appreciated.

Not sure exactly how l8 I am but 550’s being a few years older the depreciation hits ALOT harder than S7’s so in turn you’ve honestly got a lot more car for the money as far as stock for stock. However a mere stage 1 S7 is an INSANE jump from stock and stage 1 for stage 1 S7 has the 550 noticeably beat. Not exactly buses but it’ll definitely make the 550 owner want to get some more power. After stage 1 gains and speed comparisons become entirely based on the owner and his/her choice of mods. Not entirely sure about the reliability but as they say take care of your car and it’ll take care of you. Both cars are a great bargain. 550 is more of a sleeper. I personally am in the market for 1 of these 2 2014-2016 models of both.

S6/S7 turbos to RS7 turbos are a big upgrade. S6/S7 turbos have cast wheels, so APR and DS1 tunes are very conservative as far as target boost is concerned. People have grenaded S6/S7 turbos simply due to exceeding the mechanical capabilities of the wheels. Next logical step is E85, if available, in addition to other fuel modifications (HPFP pistons, upgraded LPFP to HPFP lines, flex fuel sensor).

I have an S7 with everything that SRM has to offer. Sean and Kevin actually did the install themselves. Kyle tuned ecu and tcu afterwards. I'm using the +4 in mine with direct WMI into the housings.

Depends on torque. Stock can do up to around 630 without slipping. Past that, new clutch plates are going to be needed.
