If you’ve only ever lived in B.C., then what exactly are you using as a reference point? For example, how can you confidently compare its lifestyle, culture, or cost of living to other places if you’ve never experienced them firsthand?😂

She says she has lived in a few distinct places in BC, chiefly Powell River is very different from all the others. Cost of living comparisons are easy enough to come by. Not sure why you are hating on her as the title says it all.

@@TheMcgojohthank you! Yes it’s just a perspective coming from a local. But I have talked to many people from other countries to gather other perspectives too ❤😊

You people that live in BC have no idea how lucky you are!! I live in a shitty province east of BC! Saskatchewan, or what I call”Shitskatchewan”! Winter generally comes mid to late October, and you don’t see the leaves on the trees until May long weekend!! You can pretty well expect to see -30 to -40 from Christmas to the end of February!! I’ve seen snow in every month except July!! So quit whining about -2 and rain!!

I've worked 2 jobs since I was 15, and 20 years later, I can finally afford to rent an apt. in a dilapidated building

This video in only about a small area of BC that the majority or the population lives. Most have never been to 90% of the Province. The centre of the Province sees -40 C and the north much colder. Like the rest of Canada.

@ I guess I should have clarified. I’m referring to specifically Vancouver Island. Waaaaay warmer than Saskatchewan in January! When it’s-30 here, Nanaimo or Ucleulet is above zero!!!
