In most games the monsters are ugly and attack you first, which makes it pretty easy to kill them. Undertale put in a lot of work, game design, and good writing to invert this. A lot of the early enemies aren't capable of hitting back, don't start fights, or are simple too weak to be taken seriously.

I say undertale pushed it too far. It became unreasonable to harm anyone, even people that attacked you. There was always a reason they should be spared, and it eliminates any sort of ambiguity on the matter.

Picked up on Trent Immediately, because of Joel Harver stuff. Also the way you look at 1:14 you look like a young george lucas with that beard, and the way you just pulled out your sword like a light saber. It's a look. So I've seen a part of the goblin in the cave, but not that complete version, not sure how, maybe it was a condensed short version on shorts?

Idk what that merchant was smoking, a few hundred swords every... what, week, maybe? After you sell some to everyone in town, you can sell the rest to a smith or work with a passing merchant caravan to help you sell them as weapons or something to smelt down into materials. An active adventurer would be a Godsend.
