⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤔 Moa has said in past interviews that the members do a lot of core strengthening work before starting a tour. There were even fan rumors about Su "training on a treadmill while singing", but that's not something anyone involved with BABYMETAL has ever actually mentioned in any interview. Su has talked about learning how to adjust her breathing based on the songs and choreography.

Only thing other thing Babymetal has mentioned in 2014 is how they normally train by doing full setlists and 2 weeks before they go on tour they do extra cardio. It was just a small audio-only interview (as a video on KZbin) with lots of artists about keeping fit from the Heavy Montreal festival. Can't seem to it anymore. Wouldn't be surprised it's gone.

Hey man super happy to see you do BABYMETAL again! This is a great song. Also realized that you have not yet reacted to something that I think you would enjoy immensely and also it will teach you more about the group. I strongly recommend checking out the "Everything You Need To Know About BABYMETAL - A BABYMETAL Guide (UPDATED)" by CrypticMisery on KZbin. I don't see it in your library so forgive my ignorance if you have already reacted to it.

They perform 1 to 1.5 hours, but when they get into the 1.5 hours shows, they fit in some smart moments to take a break from performing. With a story-video between songs or have the Kami members band do solos thus keeping the audience entertained while they have a little 2 to 5 minute break. Even choreography is smart, with little pauses, etc. Having said all that, it's clearly really hard work with lots of training.

Once again they kill it with tossing some Ska into the mix for a song! "Yava!" is so good and while I typically don't have a set "top 10" list of BABYMETAL songs, this is definitely in my top 5-10 if I ever did come up with one. I can't totally recall the meaning behind the song, but I think it has to do with perceptions and peer pressure from others about how you look, act, and dress and trying to overcome that desire to fit in like all the others and it not being bad to stand out as yourself. There are others I'm sure who can clarify/correct that for me who are more well-versed. Glad to see you back to BABYMETAL, but you picked a hell of a time. They went on hiatus back in October and haven't given a single hint as to whether they will be coming back or not. Here's hoping they do though for at least one more album/tour!

Hard to believe BabyMetal have been around for ten years. Still a shame that Yui left but they never replaced her as she is irreplaceable. One of the known reasons Yui left was health issues and my speculation has been that the intensity of performing live at such a young age, took it's toll. As you mentioned frequently, how much energy and stamina do the girls require? I always enjoy your leave the room moment and try to anticipate what you will say when you return. Koba Metal, BabyMetal's manager did an amazing job of selling the idea of the whole BabyMetal concept. It still stuns me the way grown men dance, mosh, and go crazy and have the best time at BabyMetal shows. Who would of believed Koba, that this idea could possibly work? Love the way Moa stole your heart with her smile towards the end of the video. It is a shame this is a compilation but it is the only way for many people to watch or react to this song without getting a KZbin block. At least in the US, you can get BabyMetal songs passed KZbin to make reactions. In my country, even having a BabyMetal video on the screen muted, will cause a block.

Keep in mind that they started at roughly 6 yo dancing and singing. So the fitness is kinda becomes built in. I do know that Lady Gaga's dancer taught them some warm up routines. Also just dance practice is a workout, if you warmup correctly. Don't know for sure about the treadmill, but Su has said that she determines her breathing pattern to the dance routine. Moa was asked what she would go back and tell herself to do if she could. Her answer was, To Warm Up before going on stage. Question MrRnR; Have you got your Band Maid ticket yet??
