He was absolutely reprimanded for that in the short term. Titus was practiclaly Calgar's favorite, and he knew that Titus would not so easily fall to choas. Not to mention Leandros broke from the Codex by reporting Titus how he did. The Chaplain "promotion" was also a double edged sword. It was Calgar's way of making use of Leandros' zeal for Chapter purity and wariness for corruption, while also punishing Leandros, because he was still pretty young when it happened, and once you're a Chaplain, that's it. You'll always be a Chaplain. So because he's a super religious zealot, and is literally supposed to spy on his brothers and report wrongdoing, he can never be super close to the Chapter at large. Also, the other Chaplains know who he is, and what he's done, so they aren't exactly fans of him. Everyone in here thinking Leandros seriously somehow got some super awesome promotion, as if Calgar and the Ultramarines are actually that stupid.

Well what else could Titus have done? Not even he is aware of the reason behind his warp immunity, hell, it sucks that not even Space Marine 2 revealed the answer. Also, you don’t even need to defend L-bozo himself, because if you were in his shoes, it would be common sense for wanting to speak to a higher up about Titus’s bizarre plot armor, especially if it entails immunity to chaos hell’s influence. However, he did snitch to the Inquisition like a hypocrite who couldn’t even follow through with the Codex till the end.
