Many thanks for the video, it's very useful as always. To my mind, you're really PhD in table tennis:) I think that many players don't care about their services, especially about its placing. We concentrate on physical aspects of the game and how to deal with different kinds of spin, but not on the strategy of placing the ball during rally. Is it possible in your opinion to beat opponents on account of good placing because many players even don't think about this aspect of the game?

Thank you so much. I definitely think it’s possible to win with good placement. Players get points with excellent placement all the time. You are correct that lots of players don’t think about it too much, so the good placement is sometimes accidental. The game and equipment are so fast that perfect placement is usually an afterthought. Keeping good placement in mind is essential and certainly possible for serves. I focus on placement more than many players because my shots are typically less powerful than my opponents. It’s a strategy that works well for me. Thanks again

I think a great serve is a serve that hits my opponents table edge making it impossible to return. :-). I call that my 2800 serve. If only I could master that. Just kidding of course.

@@BruceDowns Well, when the rest of your game catches up to the quality of your serves, you will be one amazing player.
