I'm glad you visited my home town. I was in Penang and KL earlier this year. It is difficult to compare which Cities have better food. For people who enjoy pork, Western food, and alcohol SF is better. KL has better Indian, Malaya, and Chinese food. KL's food prices are much lower and no tipping required. SF crime and homeless problem is a huge negative. Great video!

@@lingazer6774​If it’s covered in sauces and has fried stuff, it can easily cross over into junk food with ease. Many of the specialty rolls are basically this. It should be kept in mind many Japanese don’t eat sushi everyday either. Unless it’s sashimi, it’s basically a comfort food because the sushi rice has sugar and vinegar inside to bind it together. Owing to its history as narezushi which was fermented inside of the rice. The sushi here looks like ordinary sushi, so it’s not that bad. Though the tamago omelettes used in Japanese cuisine have the tendency to be sugary. And eel/unagi is the same with its sauce. I’d argue that the healthy dishes are either curry, hotpots or a bowl of ramen filled with veggies and protein. It even just some rice , tofu and miso soup.
