as a woman i am starting to think my boyfriend might actually be the the woman XD i am the who has a difficult time saying " pretty" affectionate things because i find ot so cheesy to say them ( and hear them) and he the one who wants me to say those things to him more often. he is the one who feels insecure sometimes compared to other guys ( because he wins weight easily if he stops doing sport), i am the one asking " what's wrong?" and him like " oh , it's nothing"...and i " righ, what is wrong, tell me because i am not guessing here" . and i am always forgetting important dates, i don't like to celebrate things like san valentine, i don't like to be gifted flowers and my version of doing something romantic is sitting in the couch for a lotr marathoon with popcorns. i also don't get particularly worried if he only texts me once a day cause we both get engrosed on other activities ( reading, watching shows, sports, work ,etc)and all but forget we own a phone. so yeah...i think according to this video i might be the man and my boyfriend the woman XD in general, this is a nice video but we should not assume that all women and all men are the same, so we should not assume that going out for dinner and saying " i love you" is going to work for every woman or that men never need to hear cheesy romantic stuff themselves. careful with generalization and getting the wrong message.

Another thing is be careful of only spending the time you have with your spouse complaining, venting, or taking out the anger you might have for others. Venting is ok to some extent but your partner is not there to take all the negative you have inside while other people get the loving and gentle side of you. Also, a big one is don't leave the parenting to your wife, you both decided to have kids and you're both parents. This is something which can be extremely detrimental to your wife and whole family, especially as the older kids grow up and end up taking on some of your responsibilities as a parent to the younger kids to try and maintain some order. Communication is so important in a relationship, without it arguments over small matters become unavoidable and the whole family unit becomes disconnected as the parents are never on the same page. Some observations from my parent's marriage of about 25 years. This video also made me realise I have no clue what their anniversary is because sadly it's not something they celebrate or even acknowledge. My take away from this video is I want my marriage to be different In sha Allah💗

Men and women both want the same thing it's just that men are not good at providing it. Women are always showing love in so many ways; think of the five universal love languages and which gender expresses them more: 1. Acts of service (cooking and cleaning for them, giving them oral sex) 2. Quality time (putting the phone aside to sit and talk to them) 3. Gift giving (giving presents for birthdays, cooking favorite meals or desserts) 4. Words of affirmation (saying I love you or giving compliments) 5. Physical affection (cuddling, hugging, or kissing in a non-sexual way or performing sexual acts focused on the partner's enjoyment) We all want to be loved and when our partner does not show us love in our love language it is very hurtful.

Do u think the guy who loves u dont give u the respect. And on the question of equality, I dont understand what it is. No two human beings are equal. Even two male friends dont bother about equality. I can undertand shared responsibilties. But I dont understand equality. Does it mean both the man and woman paid equally? And in a marriage man and woman can never be equal. Woman can give birth to the child by carrying the baby for 9 months. Equality is something related to the 'State'. It is states responsibility to treat all the people equally. Even that equality is between equals. Equality has no meaning personal relationships. It doesn't even have any meaning in professional relationships. After all professions also depend a lot on maintaining personal relationships. Those who are good at personal relationships don't bother about equality. Because they try to give less and take more. "Those who expect equality in a relationship will never get the love they needed".

His point was that one should make his wife feel loved and special. In Islam, it's important to try and keep your spouse happy. Happy spouse = happy home, if both are happy they love each other more and worship Allah even better. Imagine the reward both sides get when they make an effort to make each other happy. This is the message the scholar is trying to convey, this is what he means. He is not telling us to sin, he's telling us ways we can gain reward by pleasing each other.

They're pretty much everywhere but very hard to actually find one. They don't brag, don't stand up, just quietly living a life they love. Women who have them are luckier than someone who won a lottery ticket.

Me too this looks like so much draining for me as a man why can't women be more simplistic. Why are they so demanding. But well I can't complain science and evolution both explain that.

Its how Allah has created women, isn't the answer quite simple? Mr.simple guy. Allah has already given us sense to deal with our partner. If we can't even understand that why he/she feels insecurity or whatsoever then we do not desserve to be his/her partner man.
