I’ve actually found Lucy to be much better in a lore-accurate team with Burnice and Piper, as she just generates a super insane amount of decibels compared to Caesar, along with her quick assist after her EX special, just feels so good to play! Since this team likes to quickswap a lot, taking damage isn’t much of a problem cuz you can just parry or dodge.

One way of thinking about 2p swing jazz vs maybe another fire damage or anomaly proficiency piece is that that 20% is a 20% gain, whereas that freedom blues is 30 AP, which if you have 300 already, is only a 10% gain. You're getting more marginal value from Swing Jazz's energy gain because there are no other sources of Energy gain. EDIT: its a little bit less than 20% gain. Burnice gets around 1.6 base energy regen after her core bonuses, so its more of a 12% gain.

My Lucy is M6 and I actually prefer her over Caesar ; my team is Burnice-Lucy-Piper, and both Piper's spin and Burnice's flamethrower allow me to proc Lucy's M6 boar explosions over and over and over.

Honestly, even though Caesar ist BIS for Burnice id argue that if you play Jane + Burnice you dont really need Caesar to carry more of their dmg. My Jane already soloed every previous shinyu defense, and now with burnice its just all the more dmg. So id argue you can just toss your Caesar, if you have one, in a team thats not as strong

Some nuggets here! Crit proc for her Afterburn isn't as reliable as it seem due to 1.5 delay trigger which make 50% CR feels rather redundant. Focusing CR solely for Afterburn is not recommend, but she will still benefits from it in other aspect instead, namely on Assist, Ex special, Hold Atk, and Ultimate. Having High CR(or including High CD) as her make her more flexible in team rotation more than just slides in and out but can cause a good dent into your disorder(and/or aonamly) damage pool. But hey, crit with DOUBLE flamethrower is very satisfying tho. If you're not sweating over 5 to 10 seconds of end time, then play however you want!

Im using burnice on Rina and Grace team. This should be able to help me clear Shiyu stages faster. Jane+Seth is enough to be a strong duo while i wait for Yanagi

You should swap places with seth and burnice. Burnice is the best partner of jane right now. And grace with seth runs well, thats a team i run too. But of course is just a recomendation, if you feel good then all good bro

I was running 2p freedom blues 4p chaos jazz, then I saw I was overcapped on proficiency by over 100 points. I switched the 2p to swing jazz and my stats got more evenly spread and she got more comfortable to play. Solid observation on disc sets

I think for the reasons you showed in this video, you don't really need energy regen. She's already really good at conserving it. I'm sure personal preference plays into it, but Burnice rarely doesn't have energy if you play her right.

There's no other game mode I could think of that she would need extra energy for. Shiyu? Nope... HZ? you got Resonias for that. Like sure comfort is nice all and it does makeup for it when u f up your rotation for some reason but she doesn't really need it.

You can, she's better as a sub-DPS for Soldier 11 than the carry in a Fire team though. Her Assist Attack can Crit so in non-Anomaly teams you can build her for Crit to do off-field damage. Obviously not her best team though, but it seems fun :)

Her mono fire team will do less damage than a disorder comp, but you certainly can play it. The content is easy & clearable either way

Yeah it did help, extending basics, only early and last part of Ex2 has i frames, and the last part of ex2 burst is very energy efficient, extending ult longer after assist, i do wonder of who is better for a fire dmg focused team, Burnice+Lucy+Ceasar or Burnice+Soldier11+Ceasar ,i assume the Burnice+Soldier11+Lucy is overkill on fire anomaly even if u make burnice pure crit, and even if u do, isnt soldier or burnice competing for the onfield time, curios if anyone has any statistics on this
