Her core skill doesn't give 1k atk at lv0 anymore and 500 atk is locked behind going from lv 4 to 6 so now there is reason to level it.

her shield is an insurance. so you don't get scared about dodging at the wrong time. people usually get frustrated over a SINGLE wrong dodge. with ceasar in the team you are not afraid of making mistakes you will keep doing the combo without being interrupted

Shield strength matters too, the point of shield + anti-interrupt is so that you can unload your dmg instead of dodging

12:00 I’d argue the shield is one of the more important parts for her bc of the anti-interrupt it provides. Yea you could dodge everything but instead of dodging you could finish a combo that had better multipliers at the end of it. Characters that have long attacks like piper, Anton, Ellen, and corrin will benefit a lot from being able to tank a few shots while they attack.

He is saying that you dont need to max core skills, but the final jump is not just more shield buff, but 900ATK to 1000ATK. isnt the 100ATK more still matters?

Those stats are diluting. Getting ATK of a chara from 2800 to 3700 is a roughly 32% increase but 3800 to 3900 is only 2.6%. This is what we call diminishing return, especially when you are tight on resources.

Billy Burst + Qingyi Stun Multiplier + Caesar's buffs/debuffs is doing mega damage. Mostly on fielding with Qingyi, doing Defensive Assist's every so often to buff Qingyi a little bit, but then Billy gets a ton of damage multipliers for his Ultimate (I'm actually using the Street Star because I feels-crafted it early on, but considering Caesar gives 1k attack, it's probably more valuable than another ATK buff)

Ligther is a stunner sons of calydon unit, so she doesnt really cover that function out, because he will do better

@@qae As I’ve heard Lighter can only buff and Ice element, means in other element he can only do bare minimum as a stunner. While Caesar has no restriction to whatever element is in the team she buffs em all. Yeah Lighter might be doing better in Fire and ice but he gonna be bare minimum with Phy, Electric and Ether, so I’ll take Caesar in comparison. That’s just me.

She is Zhongli of zzz. Very flexible. With main emphasis on def. We will probably get better specified supports than her but yeah her flexibility and def is her main speciality

Hold basic does 250 with one hit Normal attacks do 180 with 2 hits The hold does more dmg more daze and takes less time. You are crazy if you think NA is better value it also gets the debuff up if for example the enemy is stunned or only uses red attacks (long range)

Does Defensive Assist also fulfill the requirement for her wengine? Is that Defensive Assist considered Interrupt?

Not if you plan on getting future units. No way to guarantee you will win 50/50s. Units are better than wengines. Caesar’s engine is cracked but Caeser fully built is also cracked. It’s like taking a perfect meal and trying to add more sauce. It might make it taste a little better but the meal was already perfect before you added the sauce.

She scales with impact, and I doubt her anomaly contribution would compensate.

You can run 4 pc anomaly to buff Jane’s damage, with either 2pc shield or 2 pc impact. Also there’s the risk of Caesar ‘stealing’ assault procs, which might get you to build more anomaly on her, but all of this would mean switching around drive disks depending on team set-up, which I’m not a fan of..

SW is still really strong. It's just that recent units has element ignore which was half of why Silver Wolf is strong. Now for Ceasar, that doesn't exist. If anything, I would say her kit is overloaded by giving her 2 FULL role capability

You're comparing games that have completely different assessments of value. It's a stupid comparison to make. Caesar here is being assessed based on the value she provides in the game she's a part of. You know, Zenless Zone Zero. And what is considered valuable in the current state of the game? Utility and damage. What does Caesar have a load of? Utility and damage. Unless something shifts the needs of a squad, Caesar will always have strong inherent and external value in any combinations of teams. Is she a must pull? Personally, I don't think she is. But that's purely based on my account. To a majority of accounts, Caesar is a must pull.

But wait...due to the nature of gacha games and inevitable power creep wouldnt that mean no character could be a must pull? They are all creatures of their current game state ya? SW in the beginning of the game when we had so few resources and access to elements was a fantastic pick up. In our account infancy her value was thru the roof which would explain why some would consider her a must pull as she would help you for a long time. Now a days we dont need her, we have elemental ignore and characters like firefly who put the fire weakness on them herself. She's lost her niche in some ways, which brings her down to now just an okay unit and not god tier. But doesnt mean she wasnt god tier back then.
