hello friends and welcome to another wholesome day in my life in LA! my brother is visiting so we're going to be doing all the Los Angeles things like workouts at the equinox gym, cold plunges (any andrew huberman lab fans over here?), going to erewhon, going to the gym, cooking healthy meals and grabbing fancy steak dinners in Hollywood... it's going to be a great time so grab a snack & enjoy!

cottage pie recipe (serves 6 people)
start by boiling 8 large potatoes in water. in a separate pan, saute 1 minced onion with lots of butter, rosemary, garlic powder, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper. once it's caramelized for 10 minutes, add 3 packs of ground beef, 1/3 cup worcestershire sauce, and 1/2 cup of tomato paste and cook on medium heat for 10 more minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked. in a separate pot, saute 2 chopped carrots & half a head of chopped celery with plenty of butter. add some water and salt as well so the carrots and celery soften (should take 10-15 min of cooking). if your pan is big enough, you can just saute the carrots and celery in the same pan as the beef!
by now, your potatoes should be soft, so drain the water and mash with plenty of cream, butter, salt and pepper to taste. mix the ground beef with the veggies, and layer that in a pan with the mashed potatoes on top. bake at 450 for around 30 minutes, or until the tops of of the mashed potatoes are golden. enjoy!
