I agree they have more talent on both sides of the ball than they have in years but it doesnt mean much until they show they can score/ win games. Also, the eagles are actually better this year than last so they will unfortunately destroy every nfc east team this season

For whatever reason a lot of people still doubt DJ. As a Giants fan I don't care. I've seen three QBs win championships for the franchise and DJ might be the most talented, though he needs to close the deal. But with Waller, Saquon, Hyatt, Slayton, Campbell, Hodgins, etc and a coaching staff that will figure out how to use each player's talents I expect another leap forward. Don't sleep on them.

A recurring theme of last season was get as close to the goal line as possible from run and passing plays then just punch it in when your at the 1 or 2. Jones didn’t have the receivers that would break the first tackle for YAC so within the system I think he did a good job of moving the offense down the field. Now with all these additions it’s on him to stretch the offense and let his guys make plays

Do you wanna know why the giants had so many injuries the last 5 years alone? Most of all, our core players suffered ACL tears, including but not limited to Barkley, Shepard, Wandale, etc. Sheppard tore an ACL 2 years ago, then came back and tore his achilles tendon last year. Players on defense weren't so lucky either. Up and coming high draft picks suffered the same fate. We've been literally injury-stricken this last decade, but I won't go back that far just these last 5 years. That's exactly why the owner tore up the field and had changed from whatever the hell it was. I think if I'm not mistaken, it's now artificial grass. That field ALONE cost us games, let alone that we were already stretched thin on both offense and defense. This year tho, I hope ppl don't expect the same old giants team that had no chance of winning. They'd be in for a rude awakening..... #GiantsNation

@upp3rm00n5 I have no idea what it was, but whatever it was, it's gone now. Dead and gone. It was torn up in the off-season and replaced by what most of the other teams have been using. Can't think of the name, but I'm sure it's up on Google if u look for it.

Daniel Bellinger was having a really good season last year before almost getting his eye ball ripped out. He’s bulked up and I think two tight end sets are going to be 🔥.

DJ is the the top weapon. If the O line is solid he'll tear it up, Jones will have 25 to 30 tds plus. if not he'll find other ways to win. The giants schedule is much harder this year. If we make the playoffs we will have to be a better team. I think we do.

Jones is an added rb that defense has to consider and adjust for. I think the Giants get to 10 wins this yr and come in second in the East.

@@cooldude7821 we won 9 with less talent on the team. Jones actually has recievers who (if they stay healthy) he can throw too. Jones is a better qb than his stats show. Last year showed us what he and Barkley are capable of, now add waller and Hyatt, shy is the limit.

@@zanshelby03 Do you trust that O-line. I definitely don't. Is DJ gonna have time to get the ball to his weapons. I think the D is solid. Nothing special about special teams. We play a tougher schedule than in 2022. Think we have a better team, but maybe not get as many wins as last year. But the NFC is weak. Chance 8-9 wins gets us in the playoffs again.

Think JMS should at least be an average C in year 1. And hope any combo of Bred, EZ, Glow & whoever else we bring in can stay healthy & improve as the year goes on.

Good analysis here for sure. The Gmen have weapons and I believe DJ is going to step up this year. But, as it has been for over a decade, the OLine is again the worry spot. If they play well, the Gmen will be very competitive this season. Go Big Blue!

Big Blue has a serious coaching staff and have acquired the necessary weapons they need to win their division. If the O line does their part and the team remains healthy, they will win 11 to 12 games this season. I’m betting the ranch.

Everybody talks about the gmen oline but barkey did rush for 1300 yards and Dj run run 700 so they need to pass protect a little better but the oline will be solid

This NYGs team doesn’t have a dozen pro bowlers bought and paid for with none existent CAP, or multiple early first round picks last year (plus the year before) from being the first team to literally and obviously tank a game on purpose on national TV like the Eagles. (That team should’ve been punished, I hope the Eagles have the worst luck from this BS) But NY does have a good selection of stars now, but most importantly they have one of the best and deepest selections of player depth at most positions, if they have injuries. A injury or two won’t kill this team’s overall ability to win, that’s a big plus most teams don’t have. They should have a chance in the playoffs again this year, and do have the talent to close the gap with Dallas this year, finally.

The problem is both the Cowboys and the Eagles got better. The Giants got better but based on the division they play in their improvement will not translate into more wins .... 9 wins is not bad but it does not guarantee a playoff spot. The issue with the Giants is DEPTH at LB and OL where the Eagles and the Cowboys are deeper. The Giants are still one or two drafts away to building the quality depth they need to survive the injuries that always take place in a 17 game season. Daniel Jones is fine and he has more weapons..... they had injuries last year that hurt them. The Giants will be a tougher opponent this year than last year. In my opinion, they still have depth issues that need to be addressed. Their special teams also need improvement. On the positive side they are no longer a bad team and are close to completing the construction of a Super Bowl quality team. They are just not quite there yet.

The whole division benefited from last year's schedule. This year everyone's is harder. To say the giants are the only ones with a harder schedule is ridiculous. Yes eagles and cowboys are better. But they won't breeze thru their games like last year. More losses for them possibly as well

From a starter’s perspective no the giants don’t have the flashiest guys besides Barkley and Danny Dimes. However I would argue from top to very bottom the giants have some of the best depth in the league ESPECIALLY at the skill positions

Their offense hasn't been flashy by any means but they've been solid. They just have a horrendous defense and struggle against good offenses. I don't expect much to change, they'll compete and probably fight for a wildcard again.

Giants over achieved last season. I think the defense is good enough to keep them in games, but I'm not sold on their offense being enough to win in clutch moments. I think the Giants win 6/7 games next season.
