This is subtly brilliant. As we grow up, we are taught that "this works" and "this doesn't", or what we should do vs. shouldn't do. We are taught to throw away ingenuity and care-free creativity in lieu of what has worked in the past. In order to progress, in many ways, we should encourage new or "abstract" forms of thought. - In this case with building blocks, it's a simple, yet revolutionary process of thought. - Not everyone envisions the same thing, and sometimes accepting a new approach, through the means of creativity, is how we progress.
