If you're looking to buy just one rolex then frankly you're not the customer they want. You're better off going with a less popular brand like brietling or maybe omeeega. Buy the brietling, buy tudor, the omeega, they're great watches. Wait a few years and trade it up for a rolex when the market slows down which it's bound to happen. Just don't buy a brietling new because they're much cheaper 2nd hand even the barely worn ones.

If you go through his KZbin history there's a famous episode where he complains at length that an AD wouldn't even give him a Rolex catalogue (that's true by the way) - let alone a Rolex watch at retail. Do the math, if an AD averages 6 visitors an hour, and the store is open for ~9 hours, that's 378 visitors a week. In month that is 1,512 people. Now in a year, excluding holidays, that is 18,954 VISITORS over 351 days! YOU WILL NEVER GET A ROLEX FROM AN AD! NEVER! Go to the gray market.
