As hundreds of thousands of Russians are called up to fight in Ukraine - some men of military age are fleeing the country to avoid conscription. Others have taken to the streets in rare demonstrations of resistance to the Kremlin's war in Ukraine. The mobilization announced by President Vladimir Putin earlier this week has also led to accusations of discrimination by Russia's ethnic minorities. They say they are being conscripted at disproportionate rates.

Almost all apps/websites are banned in China....KZbin, google, yahoo, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, twitter, whatsup, viber, messenger, Wikipedia, BBC, Reuters, Bloomberg, NYTimes, WSI, Fox, NBC, etc. Russia has some of the tightest controls in the world in terms of what its citizens can access on the internet. @@GENBOGA In terms of the Soviet era sure, but what defines a homeland changes over time, ever since the Ukraine declared independence after the fall of the soviet union, one can argue the fact. As for "American" involvement, there were two revolutions in the Ukraine that changed the government from a pro-Russia system only, to a government that was INITIALLY also on Russia´s side, but focused on purging corruption, which was Russia´s means of indirect control on the nation. In the effort of purging corruption in the Ukraine, Zelinsky´s government eventually turned against Russia, removing their indirect control.

Russia doesn't abide by civilized rules. They recognise their behaviour is beyond the pale of humanity, and dare not speak about it. Let me give you an example :- A 17yr old Chechen girl was abducted gang-raped and murdered. It was so horrendous even the Russians had to bring a prosecution. But Colonel Yuri Budanov, was only charged with murder, not gang rape (rape remains unmentionable) Because Russian depravity is so institutionally pervasive, it must remain unspoken. Read Svetlana Alexievich : unspeakable atrocities in the Gulags went unpunished because Russia cannot confront its crimes. Solzhenitsyn said, "There has never been any law in Russia"
