+Panday Pira no kidding, even when I'm eating 3 days only fruits (and veggi's I mean, vegtables...), then I feel quite high as well and full of energy... every other drug though pulls me down. (But most of the time I'm eating a lot of starch, but would eat much more fruits in the future, when I can afford them here - or eat them in season)

Thank you so much for this video, it enlightened me on how i should eat. A lot of raw vegan youtubers say that we need to eat 1000cals+ in the morning, or at least 3000cals per day etc. and i was feeling like it was too much for me, Yet, I tried to eat more.. But now I realize that I should just listen to my body and eat the amount of calories I need to feel satisfied and full of energy period. I eat around 1500-2000 cals a day and i'm feeling good, why should I force myself to eat 3000+ everyday?
@Rosannasfriend10 жыл бұрын
Yes, upu need to eat big , but not as big as them. The youtubers who say that exercise a LOT . They can handle and need3000 calories . If you exercise less, 2000 is enough .
@MissEasternBlock10 жыл бұрын
bananagirl says that calories are created equal. BOGUS. if you are going to eat 3000 calories and not exercise, most of us will gain weight even if it's just greens. come on now! i exercise 10 minutes almost every day, but i don't do any cardio, so i eat like 1000 calories a day. When i eat more, i feel heavy and i feel just terrible. I actually don't follow 801010 because i disagree with it, but i follow a raw food diet that has different radios. 801010 is very questionable and it most likely doesn't work long term.
@faithiefraley444410 жыл бұрын
MissEasternBlock you should be eating more than 1k calories.. anything under 1,200 calories is starvation. Even if your not workout. You still have to eat above 1.2k calories
@bluelotus2329 жыл бұрын
MissEasternBlock Of course you will feel heavy and terrible if you're not 80/10/10. You probably eat lots of nuts, and they are even harder to digest than meat. It's so restrictive to eat only 1000kcal, while you can eat much more from fruit and feel amazing.
@MissEasternBlock9 жыл бұрын
Blue Lotus i don't eat any nuts! you don't know what you're talking about. go talk to Dr. Klaper or Dr. Goldhamer who actually have professional experience and are very against the fruitarian diet. Fruitarians come to them with health problems.

Greetings! Awesome positive videos for both the young and the old. Keep up the inspiring work. Couple of notes from a medical perspective.. You did not mention taking a B12 supplement. Vegans and raw foodies should absolutely take a B12 supplement regularly to prevent neurological problems which can present within few years of low intake after the liver stores run low - this is a must! Second, vitamin D supplement is also important for those living up north and not getting much sun, especially if you have dark skin. Third, you appeared to not have nuts, seeds, legumes, or grains in your daily foods. They have unique nutrient profiles in addition to omega 3 oils and should be a part of a balanced diet. Omega 3 oils are very important for neurological health and immunity, and can be easily obtained from daily having about 1 tablespoon of ground flax (raw is fine). Finally, you did not appear to have reliable source of iodine which is important for thyroid health - a bit of seaweed will do the trick but double check the label as all of them are not equal sources. Cruciferous vegetables (i.e. broccoli) also have very unique properties and should be typically part of the veggies we eat. The reason I mention these points is that if you maintain raw food vegan fruit-dominant diet over a lifespan, the above nutrient deficiencies will possibly present themselves if you are not conscious of making sure they are in your diet. I am a physician, a vegan, and was also a raw foodist for some time - I applaud you for making such remarkable positive changes in your life and want to support you and your audience make the best of the whole plant foods diet... If you want to see the research behind these nutrition pointers, read the book "How not to die" by Dr. Greger or access the research for free on his website, nutritionfacts org. All the best to you and happy new year!

Inés Adam 1500 is waaayy too low. I'm really disappointed that she would give out a suggested calorie intake of under 2000 calories. The calories in raw food are different than cooked foods. We need more to satiate and nourish our bodies appropriately. 2000 should be a minimum. Big sad face for the irresponsibility of this video :(
@aliciarue74510 жыл бұрын
Rosebud R Freelee is not a raw foodist and eats around 3000 calories a day. She is raw till four, and therefore not relevant to this subject nor do I follow her dogmatic advice. But I do have a doctor who appreciate my lifestyle and a nutritionist who helps to keep me healthy as well as many holistic friends. Not to mention I read everything I can get my hands on to keep myself healthy. 1500 calories is calorie restriction. Period. I was diagnose with MS 10 years ago and have spent a decade keeping my symptoms and progression away through diet (100% drug free) As an adult women I would never do something like only feed my body 1500 calories. We digest raw food differently. More is needed. Health comes first.
