There's no way Onomappu knows what it's really like to be otaku, he's way too extroverted, socially well adapted, and humorous to have gone too far down the rabbit hole.

Was surprised to see 両儀式 from 空の境界 at the beginning!! I've only watched the first 3 so far. They're good, but a bit hard for me to sit through, since I don't really like horror much - and Shiki's a little too stoic for me. I wish they'd stuck with the Japanese name when they released it in English. "Boundary of Emptiness" sounds sooo much better, and really fits the story.

How does Japan have more to learn about their own otaku culture? That look is still a definitive otaku stereotype in Japan; there are no American geeks who dress like that. And what's with the elitism... over the "western level" of geek culture? Where do you come off being so confidently wrong about both cultures? Your comment is remarkably idiotic.
