Congratulations ed! Been watching the channel since the start I know it's a long shot but I have many different car stories If you would consider bringing in other people to vinwiki. I'm only 25 but have owned over 27 different bmws. I buy/flip bmws from the late 90s and early 2000s that have had a questionable pass or are in rough condition, i mostly specialize in e39 cars a few e46 m3 cars and my favorite is the e38 witch I currently have 3 of. and I would love the opportunity to come on and share a few stories. One that comes to mind is how I had to steal back my own car from an angry customer lol

Glad to hear the car is US legal now. Try looking up foundation training for your back daily and it will be help tremendously as well as some knees over toes videos to get ur lower back aligned and strong. Pain meds only go so far with enjoying these cars.

Man this story hits home. My ultimate dream car has always been the viper. Ever since it was released in the early 90s and I was 7 years old I've wanted one. But I always set realistic goals along the way. In high school I wanted a 02 ss camaro. In 04 I achieved that goal and still have it while opening my own high level detailing business. Fast forward to last summer I was finally able to make that dream come true. I like you Ed love to drive my cars and put miles on them. I found the perfect candidate in a blue 06 coupe with silver stripes. It had previous accident history but was fixed very very nice and the price was right. Me and a buddy flew out to Michigan and drove it back to Massachusetts. It still is a surreal feeling of accomplishing this goal at only 37 years old. Love the story!

For me my dream car was more obtainable but at the time seemed just far enough away to make it a dream. As a kid I always wanted a corvette. And one day I was lucky enough to make it happen. It was amazing and I don’t regret a second of it. But what I didn’t expect or anticipate was what happened after I met that goal. It was weird, I lost a bit of drive or ambition. There is a lot of history with that TVR Ed, that very car was/is my dream car, I tried to buy it about 2 years ago locally to me in Scotland but it was really really strong money, the original rear wing was missing, it had been repainted badly, most of the decent stereo equipment was gone and the original seats the car was built with have been replaced that aside please dont kill it, if anything send it back home after car trek, I knew it was going to America but had no idea you had bought it, if you need any more info on it, get me on Facebook under the same name as this 👍

That cerbera was a very famous poster car of the maxpower days in the UK. Think of a kinda sema era. Underglow and fibreglass was the order of the day. It was built by charisma. They are now doing seriously luxury SUV builds now. I had the poster...the girl wasn't bad if I remember 😂

I understand the SV is more rare and special but I'm much more excited and envious of the TVR. I have saw many and even driven a couple Lambos but never have a saw a TVR, much less the absolute gorgeous Cerbera. Price and value aside I'd still prefer the Cerbera. I doubt it's that widely known to the average person how special the SV is. It's still Lamborghini cool but the Cerbera might as well be a spaceship in most parts of the U.S.

The market is getting very strong on them. They are more valuable in the US at the moment but I think the rest of the world will catch up fast.

9:59 I actually recognize that Cerbera, not in any detail but I've seen it around a few times (mostly in UK based car facebook groups), it would always get a fair bit of attention, even if no one actually wanted it because of the modifications! If i remember correctly the interior in particular was very controversial haha

I think TVRs are really interesting, because to me they have the same kind of marque reputation as a company like ascari - low production, built in a shed etc, yet I actually see them on the road quite often. Certainly where I live I would say they are more common to see driving than older (as in early to mid 2000s) Italian sports cars, I couldn't say when i last saw a Gallardo on the road, i probably see at least 1 or 2 TVRs (particularly Cerberas) a month. Probably about as common as a Huracan or a 488 i guess

What on Earth happened to that poor Cerbera? That is one horrendous body kit. Cerbera is up on my dream car list if I had the space for one, especially if could get a Speed 12 on the road.

It was modified back in what we call the "max power" days by a car tuning company called Carisma. Its a very well known car here in the UK and was a show car for many years and had multiple magazine features. Its worth reading up on it :)

When I drive I always have my eyes open for anything even slightly cool, but one day about a year ago, I saw a matte black Murci SV driving in the opposite direction of me, spirited of course, but I was still able to make out the shape of the car with the batwing air intakes deployed and the large SV letters on the left rear fender. Now learning that there are only 44 SV's in the US, that very brief moment will live on in my memory as something pretty special. I am very glad I noticed it. Congratulations, Ed, on purchasing a US Murcielago SV!

FYI, good option to ship exotic cars is to transport to UK (cheaper freight) then ship a 20' container, place car inside, strap down, etc. We moved a GT40 from UK to USA East Coast without problems and much cheaper than a 'car transport' situation. This also allows you more options for ships as a container is nothing special and can go by pretty much any ship. Only caveat is you need to have good folks to properly load and secure the vehicle in the container. 'Theoretically' you can also bypass all customs BS by having container delivered directly to you and it is treated as just a container, no need for title and other paperwork. ;)

Amazing purchase. The 670-4 has been my favorite car since I started being interested in cars. I saw Ben Chen’s now crashed SV in Boston back in 2014, it was the first and only time I’ve seen one.
