Healthy foods and a bonus is that you grew the vegetables yourself. The quilt top of flying geese is lovely. That is one pattern on my “to do” list. The pink chest is pretty, my oldest always loved the color pink. 💗

I had to look up Halloumi also. I thought it might be a kind of tofu. Your meal looked delish! I was a vegan for years when I lived in Orlando, FL. I was able to get my hands on so many really yummy vegan friendly foods. Not so much now. I moved to a very rural area with limited resources. Your dinner was lovely. I will have to try the trick with the towel over your brown rice. I love the flavor of brown rice but can't stand the stickiness. Thank you for sharing your time with us!

Your dresser certainly looks cheerful! Your supper looks interesting ~ I have not put sprouts in salads ~ just sandwiches. I will need to get back into a more healthy eating habit. I too had to look up Halloumi. I have developed a low tolerance to lactose. I thought at first that you may have been cutting up some tofu. I will need to check out the grocers to see if they have halloumi. Continue to take care of yourself. I am off to sew up some HSTs for my swap.

Our salads could be twins, I have no problem eating the whole of the bowl before you put it on the plate. I just love a good salad, never heard of the halloumi so as usual I have learned something new from Kate. I still think you are doing too much to soon and that is why your so tired. Please pace yourself so you don't have a relapse. How about making tea in the afternoon how different is that from this?? I love that little pot your friend made, my Himalayan salt is in a tall grinder. You didn't show the kittens ;-(

Hi, Kate! Yes, the light through window is very beautiful. Your little chest is joyful, playful and fun. It’s a pleasure to visit while you cook your supper. I’m anxious to see more of the indigo quilt. I’ll keep an eye out for it. How do you spell the method you use to make the patchwork curtains. I see a pair of those panels in my bedroom in the very near future. Kaffe Fassett. I have about 25 jelly rolls of his designs. I’m going to make a log cabin quilt with a pieced border. Deb in New Mexico.
