Last summer/fall I found creative places to lose my glasses. You wouldn't think you'd misplace something you need to see 4 feet in front of your face, but I'm near sighted. I put laundry in the linen closet, got distracted by something in there, (took glasses off to further explore, set glasses on a stack of towels) forgot the glasses, shut the door and walked away. Which lead my partner and I on a game of "I can't find my glasses!" . For some reason, I went back to that closet the next day, and yelled "I found 'em!" , he asked where? So far, that's about the strangest thing I've lost, but I did find the remote in the fridge once.When Sam's had a but one pair get one free before school started back, boy was I happy! Having a small face finally came in handy!

The tv remote went missing in action for half a day or so (actually quite lovey for mama!). I go to start dinner and open the fridge and bam! There is the tv remote! INSIDE the fridge. Life with boys 🤷‍♀️

No one taught me to clean under my furniture, I figured it out after my first was about one when I moved in August and found a missing Christmas present still wrapped under the couch 😳 Now, I do one room per day of the week gets a deep clean, Sunday’s are a free day for this mama. All of my kids are assigned a room they are always responsible for daily cleaning, but if it’s Monday the living room gets a good scrub, Tuesday the kitchen, and so on.

I deep clean my refrigerator probably once every two months, but if it’s pretty empty and I have time, I’ll do a deep clean of one drawer or shelf. Under the couches probably once a month. I love that you show the reality that is having many littles. I sweep the kitchen floor twice a day and still have a decent pile of dirt every time.

The cutest thing we’ve ever found in an unlikely place, however, not in the refrigerator, but the coffee pot, was practically an entire Polly Pocket wardrobe. This is the earliest I've been able to watch your videos. I live in New Zealand so the time difference has a part to play. I can understand why people type that they are first. It's like we have a closer connection than if we watched it hours after it was posted. Thank you Jamerrill for all your hard work planning, filming and editing each video. You videos distract me from the horrific pain I'm in 24/7. I can't complain though because when I was 32 I was given two years to live and I'm 41 now so I've been blessed with more time with family and friends. Love the realistic family living messed. How often do I clean baseboards? Whenever someone with younger knees & back is willing to do it for me ! I use my swifter to clean under sofa and buffet whenever I sweep. Fridge gets cleaned when it needs it(subject to my opinion and energy level). You are inspirational! I move the sofa every day. I change all sheets and pillow cases on sundays. I also put clean linen on the beds. I keep my pantry and fridge clean. I mop at least twice a week. I also dust twice week. If you stay on top of things every day you don’t get behind.

My mother taught me to "strip" the fridge and clean it before the big grocery shop every month and I've always done it that way but I have friends who have never deep cleaned the fridge on a regular basis.

You can put glad press and seal on the shelves in your fridge. When it gets dirty, just toss and replace it! Also they make silicone oven mats that are about $8. Everything slides right off, no spray required. Little things make life easier. You are awesome.

😆 I laughed when you said, let me know how often you sweep under couch & clean baseboards. Couch only gets moved if we can’t find the remote or a phone or tablet gets lost. As far as baseboards go...only the baseboards that can be seen get cleaned about once a month. I’m sure my mother would have a heart attack if she knew that. I try to clean the baseboards maybe once a month. I use a swifter duster pad, and wet cloth. The couch gets cleaned less frequently. It's a large sectional and difficult to move. I try to spot clean the fridge once a week, and give it a good cleaning maybe quarterly.

I usually clean one shelve or drawer at a time as needed. Sometimes one a week, sometimes several if we have a spill. I take everything off that one shelf/drawer, take it out if it can be removed, and scrub it in the sink really well, hand dry it and reorganize it when I put it back. Maybe once a year I take EVERYTHING out at once and do the whole fridge and freezer.

We don’t have children yet, trying soon! But we have 6 fur children that are inside/outside at all times so they constantly are bringing in muddy paws, dust and sand. We have to sweep our floors daily and dusting is every day as well. We have just taken our mop across our baseboards and bottom of the walls so it saves our back and knees, it works wonders!!

i change up my futon in my living room with either double bed size sheets of duvet covers. I find holiday themed ones regularly at thrift stores or after holidays. it turns a little lived futon mattress into a prettier futon!

We all have the same messes in our fridges and floors. Also, you can get an oven liner from Amazon for about $10 that protects the bottom of your oven! It wipes off with a damp towel - You'll love how much time it saves from cleaning the bottom of your oven! Fantastic job cleaning. :)

I clean the outside of the kitchen doors and furnitures and surfaces once a week with the normal cleaning routine like dusting and floors and wipe out the fridge. I clean under the sofa and furniture once a month and deep clean the fridge .Same with the baseboards. I clean inside all the cupboards and dressers and walls and ceiling twice a year and all the insides of the taps and drains and that nitty gritty stuff.. i probably only clean the windows twice or three times a year since we have eight months of winter..

I love how real you are. The mess is real life for any momma who has kiddos. I don't pull out furniture nearly as often as I should. I only do that twice a month which is awful in our small home with 5 people and three pets. I do sweep, vacuum and mop daily but moving furniture is not my favorite. I also dust everything only once a week.

Tackling deep cleaning could be exhausting and yes do wipes on my fridge every other day so it won't get piled up and if something spills I cleaned it up quick so I don't have to scrub to much. But I try to clean my fridge twice a year. My couch gets cleaned behind it every two weeks. But of course all of this is because I have no kids and a clean freak Lol 😂🤣 But theres days where when I'm not feeling well then just do the basic to keep on track and not let anything pile up. Your awesome and I admire you for everything you do. This might be a helpful tip for some - I keep a large baking tray at the bottom of my oven lined with tinfoil to catch any spills or bits of food when cooking! It’s easy to remove once a week or when needed and speeds up the oven cleaning process :)

I really appreciate how real you are. It’s nice to see a clean with me that actually started dirty. I have an 8 month old and he’s a little mini tornado haha I do move my couch every time I sweep my house... however I hardly ever get a chance to sweep lol

Our sofa is not up against a wall so we clean under it with every sweep (or at least every mama sweep). What a great feeling to have the hidden dirt cleaned away.

I sweep off my baseboards and, occasionally, run the mop over them. Saves my back.

primadayna the spin mop can angle well and with hot soapy water it works SO well!
