As a fellow human obsessed with wood objects the phrase "they go click clack, they remind me I'm alive" was more relatable than I ever thought it would be. I love those wood blocks on an elastic string for when I have an episode

I genuinely didn’t know that comfort items worked for people who age regress, I started doing it a month ago completely involuntarily and I’m happy to know that there’s something that can help me stay a little more present when I have the literal mental state of a nine year old during science class lmao

Thanks so much for this, my 6 year old is undergoing the process for an autism diagnosis, and she also has anxiety. Hey pixie! I have recently seen videos of function of beauty going around and people showing their hair falling out or getting extremely damaged eventually in the long run! I understand you’re sponsored by them but I just felt the need to let you know because I wouldn’t wish that hair loss upon anyone and just wanted to make sure you’re aware and careful:)💞

i used fob and my hair fell out too but also my scalp was SO ITCHY. like right after i showered, which i've never experienced before. they refunded me and then told me to change my hair goals, and put no scent or color after i told them my concerns. so i decided to try again and the same thing happened. every youtuber i watch is sponsored by them and i just don't understand why it didn't work for me :/

I really hope these KZbinrs don’t actually use the hair care products they’re sponsored by since all of this info is going around. It's also nice to have a cute little plush keychain hanging over your jacket/ bag for a quick grab. I have this pikachu tail plush that is perfectly sized for my hand, and I have it hanging right where my arm fall down. It's also a little more descreet way for people who don't want to bring too much attention to themselves, not that it's any shame in stimming, but myself I just hate the stress of people poiting it out.

just a tip regarding emergency prescription meds- you should get extra stickers from the pharmacy to make sure that your meds are all labeled and up to date. this way they're a lot less likely to get mixed up if you're having someone else hand them to you, and you can easily remove anything you no longer take (or use it before it expires). it also keeps everything legally compliant, since some areas have laws against keeping prescriptions in alternative containers.

🥺🥺🥺 WAAAIT THIS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA in so many ways for so many reasons... I'm definitely gonna go watch the vid you mentioned being inspired by too and start implimenting this in my own life because hhh... I have ASD and my surroundings are already EXTREMELY organized because I can't function in disarray/uncertainty so even though I often don't have the energy to stay on top of my organization and routines, I have to make myself because it's so much worse to deal with any kind of uncertainty or lack of control or chaos around me... so, I generally know where anything I want/need to find is pretty often, and my whole life model prioritizes comfort/soothing and control/order when I'm at home, BUT i love the idea of going one step further and making a super dedicated super easily accessible box/bag of calming/soothing/grounding things to help in times where maybe I am too distressed to gather things from different places and just freeze and do nothing... it'd encourage me more to try to use items for grounding/calming/comfort if I had a go-to dedicated space for that. And be nice to have even just for more mild low moods!

Love this. In my DBT group we created 'self soothe' boxes as homework and brought them in to share next session. One of my most favourite sessions during DBT

I've never rlly considered using like toys/stim toys when angry/upset but that sounds like an AMAZING idea bc I tend to want to physically do something to express my frustration when I'm upset like that. I've thought about making a panic/grounding kit before but wasn't ever sure what to put in it besides like plushies or something which I keep on my bed anyways, but maybe I'll use that!! thank you 🥺❤

I carry a handful of stimmy fidgets for when my tics and/or anxiety are going nuts and it’s honestly helped so much! The Crazy Aarons Scentsory putty is really nice too, I have the gumballer scent and it’s got rainbow glitter confetti in it! I’m so happy that having these mental health aids with you is being normalized! 🥰

I've never been this early wow! I just wanted to say I'm getting my first tattoo and it's an anime one! Your videos in the past and positivity about tattoos I think really helped me feel confident in my decision, so thank you!

Kittin looks absolutely perfect for when I need to do something with my hands. It seems like a nice change of pace from playing mobile games (looks awful at work) and shredding postit notes

Yes! I love Multiplicity and Me. Ever since I saw her grounding box video I thought I should make one for myself as well. I forgot about it until your video now I'm definitely going to make one. It would be a big help. 😊🥰 Love you and your mental health openness. It makes your channel a safe place to talk about health. 💗

I'm working on making my own panic bag! Driving has been giving me a lot of anxiety lately so to have stuff that can help me on the go would be such a big help. I actually got the Needoh cat and the tangle toys!
